Where would I find this Insurance? Renters insurance or homeowners insurance depending on your living situation. Be sure to inquire about insuring high-value items like gear - some may just include it as part of the base coverage, some may allow you to declare it separately in a "rider." Also, ask about the coverage for loss that occurs away from the home as it's often not as generous as loss that occurs in the home. Thats exactly what I mean. I'll be traveling in Italy and this may be a good idea too, if they will cover everything!

I'm the OP. I was referring to silver sharpie specifically. When I made the post about the cost of the d-bag, I meant if I were to replace it when selling my container because my name is written all over it. In 99.9% of cases the D-bag will remain attached to the canopy.

It's just a D-bag...how much are they? like $50? I'd be hesitant to modify it in anyway and cause a mal. (as impossible as that may be)

I'm contemplating that incase of a cutaway, I'd like to get my main back. Do you all write your name, address and phone number on your d-bag? Has anyone ever had their main canopy returned?

Use your ribbon to get the rubber bands on the D-bag through the grommets. That's it! Then continue to stuff the "excess" into the bag. Also, buy a power tool to get your container closed. I have two dime-sized blisters on my "ring fingers" from trying to use a ribbon to close my MXS with a Sabre 2 135 in it. I had all the same problems and these were my solutions. But don't over stuff your container.

While reading the thread about a horseshoe caused by a loose toggle I got to thinking...What if her reserve didn't clear the ball of shit? What if she was stuck with a half inflated reserve. In this Low Speed Mal, where would you try to land? Water, trees, greenhouses? If you're decidedly f*cked, what would you do?
