Why should there be? Doesn't science deal with the physical. All they can know is that Billions of people have this inate desire to know God, and science still has yet to prove that desire is the result of some type of evolutionary benefit... There is no "inate(sp) desire to know god". There is a lot of religious indoctrination based on ignorance. We're ALL atheists when we're born. If children are continually fed horseshit you can expect them to grow up stupid and gullible Humanity would be much better served by teaching reality-based concepts, instead of the mythological drivel that the majority are taught now. I do care about the arguments here and how they're presented, and as always, I don't suffer fools gladly. I figure if someone makes a ridiculous claim, it should be ridiculed accordingly. I appreciate your sentiment and wish more had your attitude(even though you and I have very different opinions on the reality of god.) These people are teaching children that dinosaurs and humans lived at the same time. I guess my question(to everyone) is "are you ok with this? Do you believe that man and dinosaure actually lived at the same time? I thought primarily of Jaybird when I saw this, because he is, for me, the face of christian fundamentalism and a proponent of AIG...but the question is open to anyone.
