Just because something is natural, doesn't mean it's not harmful and shouldn't be regulated(Think Socrates). That being said, I think they should have legalized it long ago, or better yet, it should never have been criminalized. We spend WAY too much money fighting it, and incarcerating people fot it, when it is much less harmful than the other things you listed. I think that the LDS church is not even remotely "christian" in the commonly understood sense of the word. Are you familiar with their teachings? I think that homosexuals are born homosexuals, and are not homosexual by choice, anymore than I'm heterosexual by choice.
