  1. I just had a chat with PD and this was their response: "we still service and maintain the VN but no longer offer it as a part of our active product line" Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  2. PD no longer sells the Vengence. They will, however, maintain it. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  3. Not necessarily accurate. From a purely turn/progression perspective 180's are a natural progression and 'safer' than a 270. However, as patterns and accuracy are factored in, they are a more complicated setup. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  4. BSBD Danny. Think of you almost every day I have a surprise for you on Wed. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  5. I ended up getting there through the path and used a lot of what you found. In the end I had to type: In message1: Dangers and emergencies and more importantly tragic consequences if any fabric is on people message2: Panic is on the horizon I gotta look at the new links to the blogs you found (they come up after gate2) and see where that leads. 6. Dave, I figured I'd put some time into this since I'm bored, and we're on a tornado watch
  7. Got it to work now. User error (must have been)
  8. Message KEVINLOVE on the forums. He'll be able to give you the right guidance. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  9. Ok, maybe I'm just retarded (probably) but I tried typing in that answer and clicking enter and nothing happened..... Maybe my comp is just messed up? This reminds me of some of the viral marketing that the Dark Knight movie did with the Joker. Was kinda fun for a while to dig around. Performance Designs Factory Team
  10. That is AWESOME news. I'm excited to see you all adding more venues. I cannot wait to see what comes out of this district at the finals this year
  11. Folks, This is bordering on gear and rigging stuff....not swooping or canopy control - lets try and keep this at least somewhat swoop related Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  12. Actually a lot of bands are now seeing these rhythm based games as good ways to introduce a new generation to both their music, and fostering the desire to play an actual instrument. A lot of the best players actually play real musical instruments. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  13. Just food for thought. A 170 is a pretty big wing, and it's going to recover relatively quickly at 1.17 With 450 jumps I don't think it's an entirely unreasonable suggestion. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  14. I'll throw my hat in the ring too, and suggest quality coaching. Performance Designs Factory Team
  15. The speed course for a CPC pilot is 10 foot gates, 180 foot course. The carve is the same as a 'pro' course. The handicap system is pretty much just gate height. Pro's must hit 5 ft gates and amateurs must hit 10 foot gates. Event specific rules: Distance - 10 ft for AM's, 5ft for pros Speed - 180 feet long with 10 ft gates for AM's; 5ft 220 feet long for pros. 30 degree carve for both groups Accuracy - Pro's as normal. Am's only have to ecilpse ONE of the water gates and they don't have to drag water to get the score. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  16. Well, it's good to see that you're not bitter or anything...... Actually I agree with him. After going through a bitter divorce myself last year, the biggest mistake I made was assuming I was still dealing with a rational individual. If I had to do it all over again I'd get a kick ass lawyer and let them handle everything. Don't be too judgemental here - it's amazing how your SO can, and most times WILL in a divorce, turn on you. 17. Not sure what you're getting at with this post. It appears, for now, that it's not canopy control or swoop related so I'm locking it. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  18. Well there's one more day for the forecast to get better - otherwise I'm calling it. *crossing fingers for improvement* Performance Designs Factory Team
  19. I think it's a pity too. It does the pilots no justice to compete in the same place every single time. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
  20. Wind forecast is currently for 22mph. It's early in the week so hopefully it'll change. If not, I will not be attending the meet as I cannot make the Sunday 'weather day'. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

  22. Personally, I prefer pea gravel or sand. Pea gravel feels softer for landings but gives more road rash. YMMV Performance Designs Factory Team
  23. I really HOPE that is a type-o Performance Designs Factory Team
  24. There's a thread in General Skydiving about this, so I'm going to lock this one. nice job Lugi
  25. I also heard pigs can fly and I'll be winning the lottery soon. Instead of feeding the rumormill, I simply contacted the manufacturer and confirmed that PD canopies are manufactured and assembled in: 1) Deland, FL 2) Honduras Mind sharing the name of the reliable source? Sadly it seems I won't be seeing any flying pigs or winning the lottery.....damn you PD for ruining my dreams Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
