It's a term used to refer to private sale purchases without background checks. The validity of the name can be argued, but as it stands it's possible to legally purchase a firearm without a background check. I see no logical reason to not have ALL firearm sales subject to the same background check requirements. Performance Designs Factory Team

I agree. I don't see much point in regulating clip size, or "assault weapons". I do believe the gunshow loophole should be closed though. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

Holy crap. Personally I find that guy, with or without a gun, terrifying. That's one seriously angry dude. Maybe they should actually take his gun away from him - seems unstable

Glad you liked it, Dave and Karry are so easy to speak to and such fun people. I really enjoyed being there. No sure when the next piece on the PD vid is coming, but as soon as its out, I'll post it here. Blues! Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

It's so dependent on so many things I really don't believe anyone can answer the "is this the right altitude" question (online) Instead I'd say you should start as high as you possibly can while making sure the turn is slow enough to not be rushed, but accelerating fast enough in rotation rate to ensure airspeed continues to build. My motto "Start the turn as high as I possibly can"

Pleasure. Personally I think the money will be way better spent getting coaching. It's learn good habits than to go back and fix old/bad ones Velo transition is pretty 'natural' as long as too big of a jump isn't made. Blues! Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

Not sure how many jumps you've done this year, but my thoughts are that you should stick under your current wing and do another couple hundred jumps on it. Take the opportunity to focus on your technique under the wing you feel comfortable with (a KA 120 is plenty speedy

Even outside of the context of this thread, this is an incredibly important statement for skydivers to realize. I've been reading a spectacular book "Deep Survival" (that I recommend ALL skydivers read btw) and while it has nothing to do with skydiving there are a lot of things that help make sense of why we learn, and do, certain things. One topic covered is "Negative Reinforcement"....essentially: Doing the same thing 1000 times with success is not indication of a good behavior but rather that the right set of conditions haven't occurred yet to highlight the errors in assumption (Paraphrased). Anyone taking MM as a factual source is as likely to have the "facts" as someone listening to Rush Limbah. I cannot believe anyone wastes their time with even entertaining these clowns. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team -
If this was considered a good idea, manufacturers would offer a "retrim stretch" option...after all, there'd be money to be made. Just saying I don't believe anyone is arguing against the improved opening (BECAUSE the lineset is more in trim), but the bigger questions is: At what cost? Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

Reline the canopy. If your car needed an oil change would you try and 'fix' the oil, or would you just do what needs to be done and change it. I'm constantly fascinated as to how some people are looking for ways to cut corners on an article designed to save your life. I'd imagine you would frown on aircraft operators doing the same thing - why do it to yourself intentionally. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

In South Africa they are an invitation. Criminals target areas they consider "gun rich" like farms, etc. In the vast majority of cases the owners are killed, and their firearms stolen. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

Agreed. From what I've been able to research it seems that the Bill of Rights extends to, at the least, lawful residents. Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
