I think the word you're looking for Remi is....Flaccid Performance Designs Factory Team -
So it's: Mark Shimmel Jeff Mullins and myself.... That can't be it folks....who else is coming Edit: What about other regions? It'd be nice to see who all plans on competing and in what district Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

I agree. I've used a 32" zp pilot chute for almost 1000 jumps but then switched it out to test another system (and some bastard took it!)....now I'm using a borrowed 24" system and it SUCKS for hop n pops. Major hesitation is no fun (imagine an emergency exit) and slow extraction can lead to bag spin, which sucks as much. I miss my pilot chute Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

where the hell were you last night young lady! Neighbors was there, we were there, others were there and you weren't! Performance Designs Factory Team

Well today was my last day. I start a new job on monday and I gotta say it feels weird saying goodbye to friends and colleagues I've worked with for so long. Anyone else feel nostalgic when leaving? Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

Seriously though Bill, what's the reasoning in that? Spiralling around randomly isn't possible (not if you're a considerate pilot) under canopies loaded like that. So that means upping all the risks for no returns? Doesn't seem to make much sense to me. Am I missing something? Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

Damn, I gotta start using my "inner voice" more...never could hear that thing though Performance Designs Factory Team

Ya know in school that may be true. However as life goes on and people grow, those that are simply eye candy remain just that. I've met some incredibly beautiful people and the second they open their mouths and show their shallowness or stupidity that beauty is wisked away. I'd take "plain" and intelligent any day of the week. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

You ever just look around you and shake your head?
ianmdrennan replied to WrongWay's topic in The Bonfire
Agreed. This ride is entirely what we make it. Most people are too scared to take chances and resign themselves to their situation and that's fine, it is after all their choice, but I don't feel sorry for them one bit. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team -
Why are you trying to ship it? Why not just carry it with you?? Performance Designs Factory Team

Hey!! I resemble that remark.... Performance Designs Factory Team

See, now there's your first mistake!! No worries, I didn't take your post as an attack on me. I recognize that we all have different opinions and that doesn't make anyone elses opinion less or more valid. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

Dammit...Remi's onto me!! Performance Designs Factory Team -
Sign and log my own jumps. I echo your sentiment in that anything can be forged. Like Chuck, though, if something "special" happens I get it signed by those participating. My log book is a joke really as it only contains the jump type and date: FF X 12 and a date with a signature. I don't plan on getting any ratings so it's not a concern for me. edit: I can't remember the last time I was asked for my log book. I always find it a little surprising. Katie and I will be coming. Will be there Saturday morning. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team -
I believe same as a regular alti. Zero based off of takeoff setting, but I'm guessing cause I don't know the inner workings of it's software. Alti-2 have always been very good about responding to Q's. Drop them an email (Lara), I'm sure they'll be happy to address any questions you may have. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team
-
I think you'd have to contact alti-2 for any answers like that. Assuming your pressure sensor is functioning correctly, bear in mind that what you're seeing will happen on ANY altimeter. It's just more noticable when you can see increments of 10 feet
-
barometric pressure varies all the time. The important thing is that the Alti is zero'd (which it does after landing) before each jump. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

I've been jumping a mod like that for years, I think you'll like it a lot. Pull the slider down to the bottom of the rears first, then pull the front over the webbbing. When I had it done it was a little stiff and tricky to do at first, but as the webbing softened and I got more used to it, it became a lot easier. Blues, Ian Performance Designs Factory Team

Congrats. Wishing you 1000's more safe ones.
