I would argue the educator since the student did survive and landed a very nice job and appears to be a well rounded individual. Can you say the same about her professors? Compared to engineering school work is easy. If someone does not speak English at a level that makes it difficult to work with them...I just ignore them until they improve their communication skills or another person takes their spot. I'm sorry I learned how to speak the language...why can't they? It all comes down to this. And it's a difficult question to ask especially if you are passionate about what you do. Was the investment in time and capital such that after the investment the returns in time and capital are such that one can live a comfortable life when compared to the norm? If the answer is yes.
