  6. you haven't added in an inheritance tax which will be levied on wealth not income
  7. And If -I- can't afford to live on $8 per hour and the only jobs in town are being taken up by idiots too fuckin' stupid to hold out for a higher wage, then why shouldn't I try to rally some folks together in an attempt to get a more reasonable wage? Don't just assume it's all some kind of con game by the union leadership. There IS power in numbers and even if Ikea had to pay people in the US the equivalent pay of those in Sweden, they'd -still- come out on top because they wouldn't be incurring overseas shipping charges and import taxes. Honest to god, why would anyone work for minimum wage? Oh yeah, that's right, because for the company to pay you less, it would be illegal. It is called "freedom of choice", only in libertarian lalaland. out in the real world unions (free association) aren't seen as the enemy... stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding

  11. Did I say it is not stealing? you say it fulfills all the requirements of 'not stealing'
  12. Acceptable for Commie scum only. so the majority are 'commie scum'... (get those feet marching) stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding
  13. No. I'm less interested in who started class warfare, so you agree that the rich started it - but think that the poor shouldn't defend themselves... Once again you socialist are dividing and conquering. no, i'm not a banker... stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding
  14. Then all you need to do is convince the majority of the voters to make it a democtratic reality. Again, good luck with that--you're making a weak case to a tough audience. Sure, my IQ is certainly up for debate. But at least I hope it's clear that I'm not hatefull towards those who are more affluent than me, and I have no interest in stealing from tham to make my life easier. so we're agreed that a democratically voted inheritance tax is not stealing. it is a perfectly acceptable form of wealth distribution

  16. a substantial majority of workers voted for the creation of a union - democracy in action
  17. an inheritance tax is a tried and tested democratic form of wealth distribution. it's even pro-capitalist as it fosters a meritocratic society

  19. sure it is - when 1% of the population own 40% of the nation's wealth... Do you even know the difference between "wealth" and "income?" If so, then you seem to be advocating the siezure of the assets of US citizens. It would take more than that to surprise me at this point. no, i'm advocating a hefty inheritance tax... stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding

  22. "Rob the rich to feed the poor, until there are no rich no more." The wealthy gained their wealth by cheating the workers from their due. A worker produces $1 and the employer pays him 75 cents. On top of that the government takes 20% to subsidize the employer and bailout his banker freinds who sold his singular mortgage to investors multiple times. Of course a portion of the money the government kicks back to the employer and the banksters is used to prop up candidates running for government positions who will kick back money to the corporate employers and the banksters. When the people realize the treadmill they've been shackled to they will revolt. Machete killings and rubber necklaces may become the norm. A smart rich guy may want to throw some rice today. What are you talking about? Have you ever worked in manufacturing? I spent about 10 years working the factories and in today's world the blue collar guy on the line earns more than the white collar guy in the office. utter rubbish... stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding
  23. No, the simple fact is that we've been throwing rice for decades, and the only thing we have to show for it is more angry peasants and fewer affluent folks to do the throwing. what a lot of dribble - the wealthy have got richer and richer until the top 1% own 90% of the country's wealth - not a healthy state... stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding
