That must be comforting to the friends and families of those two cops. Israel could make peace with the major opposition forces, and there would always be some assholes left that would continue the violence, sucking everyone back into it. Gaza is the most current example. is everyone in ireland being sucked back into war? (by a splinter group of a splinter group) - no, they've got more sense. same with the palestinians and the israelis in a few years time

still no examples of your 'facts'

$1 trillion deficits seen for next 10 years

businesses won't lay workers off (empirical studies have shown this, or if they do the effect is negligible). what they will do is pump money from the banks directly to the lowest paid workers in the economy (remember we're in the fix we are because labour has been undervalued and capital overvalued for too long). this money will then be spent quickly and productively (resulting in the needed boost to the economy we are looking for) - easy -
The whole article is more interesting than the selective (and misleading) snips. But I'll discuss that with people interested in an actual discussion. i'm waiting

$1 trillion deficits seen for next 10 years

Unfortunately, the Fed monitized our $1Tr in debt this week with Treasury...Keynesian, I thought, was based on government spending through appropriations, not sending it into banks... i understand keynesianism (in this narrow aspect) to be based on creating the least amount of extra money deemed necessary and placing it into the economy where it will be best put to productive use. stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding -

i agree. the money is being loaded into the system, but it's not wanted. it's the demand for credit money that has slumped. this is why the money has to be put into the economy through an increase in the minimum wage. this money would be spent -

We're going on second round. Term "coin flip" implies using randomness to make a choice. If the employer used randomness, this is not discrimination. If the employer did not use randomness, then why do you call it "coin flip" instead of "the employer selected the one according to his personal preferences and thus picks one of the guys"? that is the question. the employer/interviewer says they made their choice (because the candidates were equally qualified) 'without preference'. we don't know whether the employer/interviewer is lying or not as we cannot read their mind - just record the outcome. stay away from moving propellers - they bite blue skies from thai sky adventures good solid response-provoking keyboarding
