In 1996 I did test using Milk Jugs and small money bags with wells fargo writen on them Put them in the washougal during flood stage a couple ended up on tena bar I never did find one.This was discussed with Ralph Hope Of the FBI the case agent at the time and Ralph Hemmelsbach.On two of the Documentaries You'll see the size of money bags I used and it was mentioned in one of them.Not all items made it to tena bar one was found on a the bank at the mouth of the washougal cradled in a logs.Yes there was a witness.He can be produced Now unless you have done these test had one on one face to face conversation with any of thes people or any other way besides phones ect I don't think your qualified to question me . I've done tests by placing items in the washougal and actually found these items on Tena bar. For the record I was asked to Join the Investigation by Ralph H amd the FBI back in 1988. I did not lie may way into this story like others did nor did I make up stories and Lie to the FBI like it has been proven that others have nor did I force my way into any documentary making false claims as others have . People like this do not care about anythig but themselves. Are real estate agents like that. Of course they are.Every time I have had involvement in this case it has been by others request. Even being on drop zone. I was invited to apear on drop zone. any time it is requested that I leave Drop Zone I will be glad to do so.Others should and do have the same courtesy, will except for one. I purchased A copy of a "TRUE COMICS" dated Dec 1943 Volume #30 today. This comic book features stories of combat and Baseball. What makes this comic book interesting is it has a story about the Cooper Brothers The title of this short story is the Cooper brothers of Baseball Fame.Point being there is a lot of stories in comic books using the Cooper name during that time frame. Kind of makes you wonder doesn't it.So the question I ask a while back as to how Cooper picked his name is realy very debatable.If you go to eBay and type in TRUE COMICS 1943 you will see a bunch of them. There is even a couple of the isues that I picked up today . Could Cooper have gotten his name from a comic book printed in the US or from Cooper Tires you use to see the signs all over especially around Airports. There used to be a few Very large billboards advertising Cooper Tires around the Portland Airport back in the late 60's and early 70's . One last thing Geof Grey called today he is back from Mexico and had a blast . The book is ready for release he didn't mention a date.Jerry

Tossing that money in the river is something I was not a part of or did I agrree with. I remember asking Tom what results he was looking for as he was smiling at the cameras the smile told me all I realy needed to know.I tried to get him off the columbia and do some real research. Later while Larry Carr and I was talking Larry made the statement that if Tom had it his way the case would be solved and Cooper had landed in the Columbia River and died. Jerry

No worry she has made statements in the past that she has talked to the pilot. So regardless of what she comes back with her past stories leads one to believe it was the pilot. CPT Ed Freeman United States Airforce Helicopter Pilot Passed away last Wenesday in Boise Idaho. He was awarded the medal of honor for his actions on Nov 11 1967 In the republic of Vietnam After all medivac helicopters in the area were ordered out of the area. He chose to take his Huey to LZ XRAY, 13 more times removing 29 wounded soldiers from the LZ while receiving hostile fire from 100 yards away. He was not a medivac pilot.All medivac choppers were ordered out of the area due to intense hostile fire It was not known until after he was finished that he had been hit 4 times in the legs and once in the arm. This is what true love of your fellow man is all about. I can honestly say I was proud to have met this man. I met him at the Boise VA he was truly a man of honor.I post this only to pay tribute to one of Americas Finest. Jerry

Geoger. I agree with your statement. However To my understanding it was ID'd as Coopers thats why the FBI still has it. Jerry

Smoking 99 call me stupid or slap me silly but one would think that you are a woman. However A good point about Buttons. Shellys blouses have the buttons on the left my shirts have buttons on the right. As for the tie clip. I never realy gave it much thought when I wore one which has only been 2 or 3 times, as long as it held my tie in place I realy didn't care about it. The military does not use tie clasps when wearing uniforms that require ties. I never was isued one. Only civillians wore them. So as for the Hijacker wearing a tie clasp he had to be from the old school and not a Military Lifer. Chances are he only served 2yrs or less. and didn't like ties.The tie and clasp actually belonged to Cooper.Cooper the name. Now that is a subject that has alot of theories. A lot of people have relitives with the last name of Cooper I do. I bet there is 2 or 3 others on this thread that has relatives named Cooper. So what is the most popular theory of why the Hijacker picked the name Cooper. Jerry

Robet 99. True on the military.Ralph is a member of some of these organizations I know he is 2nd generation military maybe even third,I'll ask him to do some research if he hasn't started already. On what asistance other organizations can supply. The one's im involved with have already started. Just got a phone call from a friend of mine he has been my side kick in alot of my searches. This new info has sparked his interest. He will be logging on to Drop Zone soon and start posting. He has been monitoring it for 2yrs so he is very familliar with every one on here. He has watched the old program on unsolved mysteries. He has discussed this with most the truckers from florida to seattle( He's a truck driver and computer geek).Most have viewed the same program. My understanding is that most can't understand how the FBI missed this guy They have compaired the composites with the pictures off the program and believe it to be an exact match and all feel this is the best candidate they have ever seen . That is the result of over 2 thousand comments. Still one needs to be carefull on claiming any one is the real cooper untill the final results are in. Jerry

Thanks Vicki. Got the Info as a fote note Ive always searched the washougal area every since 1988. In 1989 I found some Items I thought may be part of the case I took these Items to the Richland Washington FBI office. It is a mater of record. He told me to contact Ralph.Ralph was already retired. The Agent called the Seattle Office to see if there was any one that could help me locate Ralph. Answer you guesed it. All I got was where he used to live. So a couple weeks later I was in portland looked in a phone book found a number called it and his daughter answered the phone . The rest is history. The Items were found In a Mine of the North Fork Of the washougal River. In 1996 Richard Seven from the Seattle Times did a news paper article on me. The story was on the front page with my picture standing in front of that same mine.The article also makes mention of that find at that mine.Now what does that sound like. No one gave me any Idea of where to search if anyone claims they have. Then they lied to benifit themselves or to make up a very far fetched story. Jerry
