About 50 of them Derek OK, Derek......some credit for you! I have seen Derek cut away his 3rd canopy, deploy his main, fly around the canopy he just cut away until just the right instant, catch it with his feet at about 800ft(I think), and land directly on the target in front of the hanger! Pretty cool and it even impressed ole' Scotty Carbone! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

right......I have taken some crap too, mainly from the director who tried to make it a little "look how stupid he is" joke but he never really got the reaction from the other people who wanted.....so he kinda gave up. And one day he did "his thing" in front of his boss-one of the vice presidents-and the VP busted a big smile and told me he used to fly jumpers all the time when he first started flying! The director shut his trap after that! "Some call it heavenly in it's brilliance, others mean and rueful of the western dream"

Point Break is like the bible for my religion. It is the scripture and dogma that I base my entire belief structure on. Everything in that movie actually happened. The reason why Bodhi was able to walk away from the last landing, was that he did a good PLF. Johnny Utah never had a proper first jump course, so he did not know how to PLF. In addition to Johnnies poor training, he had blown out his knee playing for the ohio state buckeyes (#9). Please people, if Jesus can rise from the dead, surely Bodhi and Johnny can speak to each other in freefall. Also, prophets can bend the time space continuum to allow for longer freefalls. Yea, Bodhi is bad ass............the only thing that could have gotten him was the last big wave.....and even that we are not sure of!
