I have a credit card with US Bank and they do that for free. Sometimes even block me if I just have a strange purchase that they've had someone dispute with them in the past. I think they do it to protect their own asses. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube! -

I love it, too, though I have only seen it (in its entirety) a couple times. I miss Patrick. I am not a one to love a celeb or go bananas when I see one (and I have seen more than a few), but I admit Swazye always brings a smile to my face. Is that because he'd never let anybody put Baby in the corner? Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

We started getting snow out here over the weekend. I was at Tacoma, WA REI last night and the Crystal Mountain rep told me that they got 8" on the summit over the weekend. Mount Rainier National Park is getting dumped on now as low as the Jackson Visitor center!! I haven't been this excited about snow in years! Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

I use them all the time, Don. Both road and topo. I even have a program to print my own custom topo maps. Paper maps are better for me because I can see the entire route and not just a portion of it. I can see my planned route and options available. Scrolling on a GPS screen is a pain in the butt and if shown on the map, contour lines are difficult to read. How's everything down at SDA? I miss you all and the great weather! Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

I just got an HTC EVO and used doubleTwist to sync my itunes library to it. I have a combination of MP3 and AAC files. Haven't tried to sync any that i have purchased from the iTunes store so I don't know if it'll play the protected AAC but all the others worked fine. Just create a playlist in doubleTwist for the phone and select it to sync. Also put some short videos on it which were in mp4 format. Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

Is this guy bitching because a $10 remote doesn't work? Tell him to go buy new batteries for the remote or to just go get a new remote. Send him back $10. +1 on the Tahoe recommendation. Heavenly is so heavenly! If you're willing to venture further, Whistler dwarfs anything we have here in the States and has awesome skiing. Even if it's warm at the base, the upper part of the mountains have great conditions. The holidays are prime time so get booking soon! Andy I'll believe it when I see it on YouTube!

That sucks. How long ago did you get it? If you bought it on a credit card, some banks cover a loss if it's within a certain time period. Might be worth looking into. How did you have it mounted? I've seen a lot of crappy methods to mount Contours. I don't want this to sound like an ad but I found this mount searching around last night and ordered one this afternoon. I'm planning to use it for hiking and climbing and eventually want to mount it to my helmet for jumping (next summer). You can also get adapter plate that mounts to 1/4 screws which are pretty standard for tripod mounting. Anything has to be better than the crappy goggle mount that it comes with.
