    people still push lawnmowers? the ones you stand on the 'tail' of look kind of fun... but i dont think i'd like the pay decrease... gave up yardwork in highschool.. I sold my music store about 10 years ago, and my landscape customers all were thrilled. I do landscape design and maint. I'm with Cocheese. I make a great living, get to be outdoors all day long, doing what I love to do for people who pay me very well, because they appreciate me, and my ability to keep their very well manicured estates.     This is the kid that spent 89 weeks in the hospital. Unfortunately he no longer has insurance, and can't buy insurance for all of his "pre-existing' crap. He used to carry an epipen, They cost about 20 bucks, have a short shelf life and require a dr. visit to renew,so no pen...btw, they work really well, he's had to use his on several occasions, starting at about age 10 skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

    My son mowed into a hill of very little sweat bees the other day. Three of them nailed him, and he started having an allergic reaction immediately. We ran to the nearest Walgreens and got some Childrens (liquid) benedryl. He chugged about half of the bottle and got thru it ok. I should mention that he is highly allergic to tons of stuff, and is a 29 year old. The liquid benedryl gets to the problem faster than the tablets. Saved us a trip to the ER. Funny thing is, I got stung on my eyelid, didn't even notice until the next morning when my eye was swelled shut. DUH. Guess I was worrying about him.     Do you know of anyone who does have video of that load? I spent the next several days at the hospital with friends, and I was told there was video out there, but never saw it. If anyone does have any, I would love to take some back to the guys who are on the video.     Lots of high places to camp in Ft. Dodge. Good thing too! I see on the Today show this morning that they are working hard to keep the levy intact in Ft. Dodge. Anybody know how to google earth for the Des. Moines River in that area? Good news is, the storms that come thru this afternoon are supposed to be the last for a while, so we'll all have time to dry out before Wednesday.     We mowed a couple of acres this afternoon, then ran to farm and fleet. My son John got out of the truck and puked all over the parking lot. Really miserably hot and humid here. Been that way for a couple of weeks and we're tired of it. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

    MMMMMMmmm. Sounds like you really DO cook. I just play one on tv. Only cuz I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night. Truely, you would be safer having me do surgery, rather than eating my cooking. I only cook steak, so if you want anything to go with it, you have to bring it with you.     I usually use a little garlic powder, some rosemary and some salt and pepper in a cup of white wine. Pour that over the steaks and then liberally apply steakhouse pepper ( I think its just cracked pepper) and let it sit for about a half an hour.     Thanks Wendy! I called the hospital last week and left a message for his sister, but I haven't heard back from her. Orlando is a great guy, and I was really distressed when I got back to Summerfest and found out that he had been hurt. We had spent a previous evening together at the pond with Streaker and Jason ( an EMT) and had a terrific time. I was glad to find out that Jason helped him immediately when he was hurt, and I know that lots of his friends are pulling for him. I can't translate the Spanish well enough to keep up with the Spanish forum, so if you continue to keep us informed, we will surely appreciate it. Beth skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
