I have boxes of IBM cards in the basement. I have used them for flash cards for a couple generations of kids now. They are terrific. I probably only have 3 or 4 hundred left. I find it a challenge to buy things only when I NEED them, not when I WANT them, and then to try to find what I NEED used or refurbished from something else. I have a whole garage full of neat old tools. For instance a scythe. (sp?) You don't need string for the trimmer, or gas, and you can take it out into the woods and leave all kinds of other crap behind, and just get the job done. It also doesn't weigh anywhere near what a gas powered string trimmer weighs, so you can hold it at arms length for hours and not get tired. My son and I were painting at Grandmas house last week, getting ready to sell it, since she died. We got to the baseboard and there was a small electrical looking box with 4 small holes in it. I am in, and have been for a long time. I HATE credit cards, and there are so many places where you can't do business UNLESS you have a credit card. If you travel, you are stuck, hotels, airlines, car rental places, none of them work in cash anymore. I got up early one morning to check on him and crawled in to make sure he didn't drown. And Dublin this year, running around with pink Hello Kitty walkie-talkies. I don't even remember what we were saying. Blue skies Beezy. Well, with me, he just called up to sing "I've got something in my pocket that belongs across my face, I keep it very close at hand in a most unusual place.
