I just always figured that the water came from a magical spring in a mythical valley where the unicorns live, next to the tree where the elfs make the cookies. Really! One of our local municipalities announced they balanced their cities budget by bottling water and selling it for a buck a bottle, where it normally is something like 15 cubic feet of water for a buck. Hey tell Diamante that my retriever 'retrieved' my WFFC phone, and pierced the screen. When I got my replacement phone, they told me that they couldn't transfer numbers because the screen was broken. He has my number, but I don't have his ( or about 200 others that were in there) So if he or any of you want to call me, I'd love to talk to you, and get your numbers built back into the phone. at the WFFC.. Clint(TallSlut) and Patrick(FrenchWhore), the Airboss and I have spent the last several weeks going boogie to boogie, and dz to dz. I've been from upper Wisconsin to Houston and back the the midwest (Thanks Streaker for funding me!) Everywhere we go, people are SOOO nice to us! We ended up in Rantoul on some business yesterday, and everyone in town asked when we were going to be back! Btw, this would have been the SIXTH beautiful day in Rantoul , today. No wind, low eighties, no rain! Boy did we miss the wrong year. We spent the last two days daydreaming of all of you guys, and talking about all of the fun you are and the tremendous times we have had year after year in Quincy and Rantoul. We're not done with our roadtrip yet, Streaker is meeting us this weekend. Hope we run into lots of you at Summerfest. My husband (Streaker) had bone marrow removed for testing and I can tell you it was quite painful for him. I would do it in a heartbeat to save someone else. Different organs have different amounts of pain necessary, and obviously some require the ultimate gift of sacrifice. Definitely get on the donor list if you are not already. When my kids were little the oldest found a couple of red towels that he pinned around his and his little brothers necks. Instant cape to go with the Superman Underoos. Chuck Blue just informed me that the Flockers completed a new Texas State record of 22! Congrats to all you crazy flockers! Last night the powered parachutes did a really cool display by lighting up their crazy machines and flying around the landing area after dark. Saturday Update! The weather is holding with very high clouds, which is helping to keep the temp down. We've had non-stop jumping going on, all of the storms are staying North, and we haven't seen a drop of rain. The first pink-patch attempt was about 10 minutes ago, and although the formation wasn't completed, it will be attempted again in about a half an hour. A full skyvan of flockers just took off, and we're looking forward to a great formation from them. The AN-2 is here, Yes it really does exist. I haven't seen any official numbers but my guess is we have about 250 jumpers here, and about half of them are trying to pack within about 10 feet of me. The Tall Slut, French Whore and myself have made a little trip to skyfest. Arrived late this afternoon, and Jay and his troop made us feel instantly welcome! Skydive Arizona is here, and so is Art from the Skydive Store! We watched as a 21 way did a little dirt diving, spent some time helping to set stuff up in the tshirt area, and came back to the hotel, so that we could rub it in your faces that we are here, and you are missing it!! No really! You still have time to jump in a car and grab your share of clear blue Texas skies! I asked how registration was going, and there are over 140 skydivers here so far, and it's only Thursday. We got to watch the AN-2 do a couple of loads, and a powered parachute is doing demos, too!
