I just replaced my water heater last winter. I think I paid 289.00 at Lowes and a friend installed it for 30 bucks. It isn't hard and it doesn't take long. Getting rid of the old one wasn't easy, but I have a truck and waited til the "freebie day" that happens every year here. My deteriorated because the dip tube crumbled into it, and clogged absolutely all of the aerators in my house. It was when I had to check the aerator into my washing machine that I finally figured it out,,,,DUH! And I had just missed the recall notice by about 3 months on the water heater, or the company would have paid for part of the replacement. If I were you, I would check all of those places where water particulate may be trapped, like all of the aerators on all of the faucets in your house, and have your neighbor do the same thing. Water companys are required to provide QUALITY water (yes, there is a water quality act) and they have to keep records DAILY. Our little bitty city publishes theirs, and your city does the same thing. If you can prove that this water has destroyed your property, it isn't a far stretch to imagine that it is destroying people too. I know that our city has paid for private property that they have knowingly, or accidentally destroyed. And they do it on a regular basis. Or maybe you would be saying "shit with THAT many jumps I should be telling everybody else what to do" Hey, don't let it bug you. Some people are just a$$holes, others, like me, just aspire to be......

Exactly. Why do these developing nations need to make the same mistakes we did? Better public transportation is the answer in cities, not cars. And China has our turn of the century sweat shops and coats everything in a nice layer of lead based paint. But what the heck, we keep buying their crap, because we can't afford to produce and buy the stuff here, because of the laws against sweat shops and lead based paint. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

The only thing wrong with that picture, is that I didn't make it into it skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Quotewe have pics of them on the otter![/reply Oh man, I missed that! Very Cool! God Bless Johnny, hard to believe it's been a year. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Maybe not that extreme, but some kind of memorial to Johnny would be cool. Anybody have a picture of Johnnys RV from the Convention? It had GIANT earmuffs on it. I think Dan Ebbing and his brother made them, and put them on the RV while Johnny was jumping. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Hey Buddy! Keep your head low! Oh yea, you usually do. Really, stay safe, and if you want I'll talk to your General for you and tell him that we need you more here, than he needs you there! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

My son and his exgirlfriend shared custody of a beautiful lab named Annie. She was my special buddy, followed me every where, slept on my feet and I loved her. The crazy bitch (and I'm talking about the girlfriend here, not the dog) took Annie to the pound without telling us. We called her for a week (the girlfriend not the dog) but she wouldn't return our girl (the dog, not the girlfriend) and we couldn't figure out where she was (the dog, not the girlfriend). By the time we got it all sorted out, she had been adopted out (the dog, not the girlfriend). I still miss her. (The dog, not the girlfriend) skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

I hope you and your best friend are reunited very soon. I know how hard it is to lose a buddy. Just a bump to keep you on top skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

According to the police I'm not allowed to - I lack the years in sport as well as the jump numbers Naw, you're just new enough they are testing to see if they can scare you off. My jump numbers are WAAAYYYY less than yours and they've not been able to get rid of me. Fact is, a couple of these guys kinda like me... skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

He may try, there is still half a steak left from last nights celebration, and he may get rid of me so he can have it. Thanks for all of the well wishes everybody, and yea, I'm still trying to pull it together for us to have a great huge big boogie in Illinois. I miss you all! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

If you could steal $8000 without anyone knowing would you?

I'm with you on this. I returned 15 cents to a grocery store clerk one time. She argued and argued with me about taking it back. I finally left it on the counter and walked out. I couldn't have slept if I took it, on the other hand, I got to thinking that maybe she didn't want to open the cash register drawer (afraid that I would rob her, or afraid that her mistake would show up) skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com -
On big bad snowy days here, we forward thru those movies to see just the jump sequences, and then we forward thru to the end credits and say "I know him, and him and him" Then we watch all of the boogie stuff we have collected thru the years, and dream of goood weather. We're heading to Fl next week for a couple of days for a conference I have to attend, and Streaker is taking his logbook in case we have time to hit a dz. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

And i thought it was about me... must be b/c we have the same name What smart mothers we had! skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

The AirBoss is heading to Fl to pick up a car. And Streaker and I are heading there for a conference. Where will you guys be from the 10 the 15? skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

When I saw the title of the thread, I just assumed you were talking about me. Hey Cocheese! Hope your skylights are going well, I'm gonna do a new kitchen ceiling in the off season. I have some tin all painted and ready to hang. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

After talking to Norman Kent, I am looking forward to the release of "Get Smart" this summer. At least they took a comic look at skydiving, and made no bones about it. I'm hoping the sequence that Norman did for them is about a 12 minute freefall. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

Is it feasible (or maybe I should say sane?) to...

The longest one sitting drive that I ever did was Orlando to the top of Illinois. About 23 hours. As far as the trip you have planned, very doable. Try to figure out where you have friends along the way incase you need to stop for a break, or a shower or a nights sleep. You can count me in on that, I'm in Illinois. This summer French Whore, Tall Slut and I drove straight thru to Texas, spent a couple of days with Jay, and came home to Illinois. Our car broke down in St Louis while we were talking to AirBoss 2, he called AirBoss 1 who lived in St. Louis and invited us to a night at his house. Pays to have good skydiving buds. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com -
Two revivals of threads from Duthboy each 7 years old. Strange. The other one was locked, do you suppose the greenies will catch and lock this one too? skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

I've met tons of them at the WFFC thru the 10 years that I have been helping with it. This year I went to a dozen or so boogies and met many of the newer dz.comers, so I'm trying to keep up. I'm with Selbub. How many can I remember? two or three, that includes her and Streaker skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com

There are six kids in my family, and my dad was a filming nut. My siblings and I all chipped together a few years back to have it all converted to video, and the guy who did the editing did a phenomenal job of adding appropriate, and correctly dated music. I think it would be good to have all of this video re edited to DVD, but don't know where to go to do it. I now have the videos of my kids as they were growing up to add to it. skydiveTaylorville.org freefallbeth@yahoo.com
