Where does this come from? All the evidence I have seen indicates that parachutes are damaged most from handleing. Then from use, and expousre to UV, and time by itself has little or no effect on nylon If you wait several thousand years it will eventually break down without any outside influences. Maybe that is what he is refering to. Mick. Ain't that the truth. My father and I own Eastpack Backpacks. Just simple little school bag type. Well he's has his since I was a tot, and a few years ago on of the seams failed as well as the zipper was wearing out. Since they have a lifetime guarantee he sent it in to them, but afraid they would probably just replace it and as his had sentimental value since he hauled our things in it for years while we were growing up, he asked if it could be repaired. I must have cost them 3 times as much to repair it, than it would have to replace it, but that's what they did.......

Rug burns on knees that left scars. Bloody nose from being smacked by someones forehead. Kneed in the side of the head. Fingernail punctures to the back/ass cheeks..... mostly worth it though..... ---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.
