That's what I thought but wasn't sure. I don't know why he would bring that up though...Doesn't make sense to me, seems he'd want to keep that on the DL. Man this show is awesome. I think it was a threat. He never came out and said anything exactly as to what happened, but based on the look in her eye after he said it, then him following that with "its dangerous being a fed". I think it was a threat! OH! and Tara, she is turning into quite the protective mother hen! Rock on with her bad self LOL Damn good episode, I cant wait till next week to see where the hell this all goes! Fantastic plot twists and turns! That's a tough one! I voted #1 primarily because I would have 2 days out of the gym, instead of 2 weeks of crap work outs Get it done and over with quick! Kind of like ripping off a band-aid. I know what you are saying, I was just all prepaired to watch some serious ass whoopin with lots of carnage. I do wonder if Gemma will decide to tell Clay or not....that would make both he and Jax loose there minds. I really love the way they keep making these random left turns in the plot, really keeps you on the edge of your seat! I am going to hopefully get another round of pics done here in the next month or so. I am about to go into a Heavy lifting phaze, after that I will post some :-) For now I put a shoulder shot up as my avatar on here :) This pic was taken 2 months ago. I still have lots of work to do to both lean out and build muscle, but it is getting there You see I found out first hand what happens when one does not eat proper for their body type, you get fat And trust me once you get over 30 it is 100x easier to do. I had got up to a size 16....big girl....all my fault. I am down to a size 8 now, 23% body fat, 148 lbs @ 5'3". Yes kids I have lots of lean muscle mass with a bit of fat still to go in order to fully expose. I wont get too much smaller then a size 6 I think, as my Quads are kind of huge :D I cant wait to try and get good pics of the quad split definition! I love my legs! Nah, I have far better things to do with my energy then argue this one anymore actually. If that is what she believes then fine. I said my peace, and will defend my stance....but I have nothing more to say. There is so much information out there, documented information by Dr's who are deep into nutrition and how the body works it is amazing. I have learned so much over the last year it is incredible. Now if anyone has any constructive input or questions then by all means, add or ask. But assuming that one set way is how everything needs to be is just plain ignorance. I said carbs in the form of whole grains, fruits & vegetables should make up the majority of one's diet. This is true for the general population. I did not read the rest of your post. Too long. Felt ranty. LOL you crack me up. Heaven forbid someone tries to explain something to you. I will say it again, not every ones diet should not be Majority of carbs...PERIOD...I dont care if it is clean or not. Yes we need to eat them, but we must eat balanced for what is right for ones body. What I have bolded is what I am telling you that you are not correct about. I give up, it is clearly obvious you are unable to understand what works for you does not work for the rest of the world. Yes it was a rant, but obviously you refuse to leave your little box You refuse to read because you refuse to believe you might actually be wrong It happens, I am wrong sometimes too. This time however I will gladly stand my ground. I hope someone learns a little something about how everyone's body is different. And congrats to you PLFXpert if you are one of those lucky people who in fact are Ectomorph, oh wait since you didn't bother to read you probably have no idea what that is...never mind. If she is not also body-building, she should definitely do more research. I do not believe I am the only one who did not realize your OP was referring to body-building. You missed part of my point, you brought up the whole statement about people should be eating more carbs which is far from the truth. Body building or not, each person has a specific body type. That body type has specific requirements in order to function properly and maintain a healthy weight. BTW, she too has been working with a trainer , so she has done research. I still ask you to do some research on body types and macro nutrient requirements. Yes I am leaning on the body building side, however they have a great plan for becoming leaner and eating clean then anywhere else I have found. The amount of research and work these people have done in order to sculpt, shape and hone their bodies is amazing. Macro nutrient requirements vary person to person. So weather or not I am body building or anyone else, each of us has specific needs to make our body run more efficiently. There is no end all/be all solution that works for everyone. I am trying to correct your blanket statement that we should all be eating high carb (clean) diets. That is far from the truth. Our body requires a decent amount of protein to maintain muscle. In addition we do need a proper amount of carbs to keep ourselves fueled. However, too many carbs of ANY kind if not eaten will become stored as fat for most people. This statement excludes those that are a true ectomorph. One of the thing that society has problems with today is the scale and what they look like. There are tons of people out there that are what is called Skinny Fat. They might be a size 6 and weight 115 lbs. But they have little or no muscle mass and have a body fat Percentage that is high. These people in some cases tend to not eat enough protein or have a completely unbalanced diet all together. Again as I said before, what I am eating for me is just that, for me. Everyone is different each person will have different dietetic needs. What I am trying to make clear here is there is no blanket assumption for everyone. Heck I have had to play with my Macro-nutrient percentages and caloric intake over the last few months because I plateaued on fat loss. The funny thing for me, my calories had dropped too low for my lifting load, I had to up them. So even the amount of calories per day one should eat varies on each and every persons needs. If a person doesn't eat enough their body will go into starvation mode and start storing everything as fat and start burning away that precious lean muscle mass instead. I could go on and on about this as I have been doing a crap load of research, talking to tons of different Dr's, nutritionist and body builders. Bottom line for everyone, take care of yourselves. We have one life and one chance with this body. It is like that bad ass classic muscle car, you sure as hell wouldn't want to stick 87 octane in that bad boy now would you? We take care of the most amazing machine we have been given and it will stay strong and beautiful for a lot longer She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto

Is there a regime and/or website you can provide from which you are obtaining the "clean" aspect of your new diet?[/repl The primary goal is for me to removed all processed foods. My information is coming from several body building sites and nutritionists. I am trying to develop a toned and muscular body. I don't have all the links handy here, but there are tons of places for information. I also am working with a trainer. My diet is geared towards my level of working out at the gym, as I spend 7-8 hours a week between lifting and cardio. What I am eating is not what the general population should be doing as I am feeding my body to repair after long hard work outs. Bottom line for me is removing boxed and process foods, cooking all of my own meals with the occasional meal out. I pretty much make almost everything from scratch for the week on Sunday, then package it in portions and either freeze or refrigerate. Then you should do more research. Carbs are great in the form of whole grains, fruits & vegetables. These should make up the majority of your diet. Avoiding processed foods, however, I agree with. Sorry but I will disagree here for MY situation. I am trying to build lean muscle mass. My body requires a decent amount of protien to do so. Certain body types can in fact do ok with higher carb diets, but most (unless you are an endurance athlete) cannot. So I would beg to differ on you telling her to do more research, I believe you need to understand the situation at hand. I dont know a single body builder/weight lifter or gym rat for that matter that would EVER recommend primary carb for everyone. Yes the carbs you list are the only ones we should EVER be eating, but not the Majority of everyones diets. For you this is fine, for someone who happens to be an ectomorph body type, high carbs are fine. However, if the person is mesomorph or endomorph that is HORRIBLE advice She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto

Not getting many options for my area from local harvest, but great link. As for Whole foods, I am trying to avoid having to go there as I know there are better options price wise, not to mention the one by me is kind of flaky with actually having bison in the store. I am looking for the best possible option and would rather find it from a private meat market. Lenny gave me a great recommendation, about an hour away but it is also maybe 20 min from my brothers that I happen to go visit every other week or so She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto

Cool thanks for the info! I have always been a fan of buffalo and would make a point to get it when I can at a restaurant. It had been awhile and I decided I wanted to go get some. Big mistake, mygod it was wonderful!!!! I agree on the meat should be no more cooked then Medium/Medium Rare EVER...some stuff is ok Med-Rare but not ground anything. Bluck I have made a few major lifestyle and diet changes, with this I am finding some of the most amazing and wonderful foods :) Buffalo I knew of, but couldnt afford. However it is become a treat meal for me. I must say a wonderful one She is not a "Dumb Blonde" - She is a "Light-Haired Detour Off The Information Superhighway." eeneR TF#72, FB#4130, Incauto

The problem with a local farm is that so far the only one I could find is about 3 hours away and it looks like I would have to drive to get it. That is a little far as I dont have room for a half a bison to make the trip worthy ;) Now if someone in the Chicago area knows of one, then by all means I would much rather go that route. I know trader joes has the buffalo ground, but I am looking for steaks. I found one meat market that has it frozen but it is $15.99 a lb for sirloin. Trying to see what my other options are. I am looking specifcally for bison/buffalo as it is a fantastic addition to my current eating :-) much much better for me then steak.
