I wanted to jump in here and start this thread. I am so excited! I had a 3068 calorie burn last week in the gym alone! Had 5 great work outs, 2 weight, 2 cardio and one combined long weight and cardio work out! YAY! How did everyone else do last week? Nothing special in the weight loss arena. However, in the fitness arena I ran a 10 min mile yesterday! woohoo. It has been awhile since I could hold 6.0mph for 10 min straight!!! YAY In the gym 3-5 times a week building strength, and now am kicking cardio into high gear! I am one to not believe in some of these goofy "Hallmark Holidays" yes I know the true hallmark holiday is Sweetest day, but frankly Valentines day is another way to sell stuff. I do not mind if someone wants to celebrate both, but as with anything I just dont expect it. If I had an anniversary that landed around it I would actually be bummed. To much other crap, I would rather celebrate before or after to stay away from the hoopla. Having silly expectations leads to pointless heartbreak! I would much rather have someone do random acts of kindness through out the year. Thats the thing, I have seen the showers cleaned different times during the day. so my guess is they are cleaned multiple times during the day as I almost have NEVER seen them nasty. But the shaving in the steam room thing, that is just wrong. I should have complained and I will if I see her in there again. I am pleased with the locker rooms and showers as they are quite clean. Ok so I have been a good girl and spending time working out again. Well last night after my work out I headed to the steam room, I find a lady standing outside looking incredibly confused. I ask whats up, and she has this look on her face. I ask her if it is that scary, should I detour to the sauna instead. She stutters out "She is shaving her muffin" Steps aside and clear as day you can see through the door this girl sitting spread eagle shaving her muffin right there in the sauna. Now mind you there is a list of rules that state there is no shaving in the steam room. I thought about going to management on this one. It is fucked up I don't want her muffin hair all over me...eeewww. The showers are less then 5' from the sauna, she could have just ran over to a shower and did it... They are nice, but as already mentioned HEAVY as hell. If you dont have to actually pick it up, not so bad. If you have any stairs you need to move it up or down, then you might want to think about it. Also LOTS of parts to do all the things. Which is nice cause it does work as a shampooer too.
