If I remember correctly, while we had the Intentional Cutaway rig at SDC Kirk actually had a real Malfunction on "Pinky" (this canopy has a history of spinning line twists). Kirk and the camera man left the plane and as soon as Kirk opened up he went into spinning line twists, not induced. The camera guy had no time to get video it happend so fast! It was awesome to watch from the ground! Reserve opened beautifully right on heading! Lawsuit against Walmart because of injury in parking lot!!!!

[sarcasm] Found this in the local Rag...... By. Stu P. Id A lady filed suit today in the county court sighting negligence against the Management and Staff as well as the Driver of the truck of a local Walmart in Podunk County IL. Her left leg was severed by a 18 wheeler as she was walking thru the parking lot. She is sighting negligence on the part of the store and the driver for not warning her of the hazards of sticking your leg out underneath a moving vehicle. Witnesses say that the women walked up along side the truck and proceeded to stick her leg under the moving tires. She claims she had no idea it was moving. What a intersting weekend.... 0:9:1 9 Jumps, Friday (1) 2-way drill dive with Chris on which I failed to close the velcro on my Oxygen helmet....poof gone at 9000... manged to keep my contacts in... No luck finding the helmet....we looked everywhere in the area we were over when it happend...and factored in the winds..... Saturday (4) jumps! MWSL Meet!!!! During the Breifing in comes in one of the newer jumpers with my helmet in his hand! Helmet is pretty trashed, but the Pro-Track is Working!!!!! WOOHOO!!! Sunday (3) 18-Ways and (1) 5 way game of duck, duck goose 1 case of beer owed for my first Skydiving Competition....and First Place!!!! Go Furies.... By the way... Bump-n-Grind and Good Vibrations....you guys rock....glad to have met you guys!!!! See you again in july!!!! I have watched reserve repacks several times. I also have had the honor of watching our Master Rigger repack the reserve on the intentional cutaway rig we had from Relative Workshop with a SkyHook. He was more then happy to explain things, and had invited me to watch as I had questions regarding the SkyHook. 1:3:0 1 jump I will never ever forget......Sat Load 2, I am taking a newer jumper up to play a bit and work on her orbiting and docking.....as we go to get on the plane Roger Nelson comes running over and asks if we were belly flying and if he could come join us. Well of course!!!! Roger always tried to make time to play with the newer jumpers. So we pretty much scrapped the plan....and played. The smile on his face was priceless...he was soo happy being in the sky watching the newer jumpers grow and progress in this sport. I will forever hold this jump in my heart 2 more team jumps that morning....
