Hate to break it to you...but that is life. Sometimes you cant have everything you want My .02.....If I were to have a roommate I would be VERY VERY VERY selective. As you have to deal with this person regularly...I made a decision not to have one now. I am much better being on my own as I can be a lil high maintance...in the reverse sense...I like leaving my shit around, dont mind having a lil dog hair hanging around, and do the dishes when I fell the dishwasher can be filled. Thing is I get along well with most people, but I prefer having my own space. There are quite a few people I have no problem "living with", but it is nice having a place to myself for now anyway. You have to sit down and think if you can infact have someone living with you, and not only if they are high maintance but are you? What do you expect from a roommate, and what are you willing do do as a roommate. This would be the grounds to start finding one, if you feel you have to have one. Good luck man.... To be completely honest with you, yes it was a bitch...but a hell of a lot better then the shoulder surgery I had this year. Keep in mind every time you knee gives out, you are slowly but surely doing more and more damage to your knee. ACL is a hell of a lot better then Knee replacememt I am now 12 years post op, and the knee feels damn good. It is also a weather barometer! if it is gonna snow I will know Which is good, my second love to skydiving is skiing... Basically the recovery went like this...got out of surgery, started PT next day, on crutches for couple weeks, doc said 3 I said 2.... I was basically moble pretty quick, it took 4.5 months for me to get to full strength, cleared to do as I pleased, though I did wear a brace for protection for the first year when doing hardcore stuff. And to be honest if im skiing hard, I still wear it. That brace was custom built for my leg. Not one of the the neoprene ones. I know there are quite a few other people on here who have gone thru this... One of the many options is Summit County, you have 4 ski areas in the same county, basically 20-30 min apart worst case, a free shuttle system between them too. Lots of places to eat, and stay! Breckenridge, Keystone, Copper and Arapahoe basin all there...and Vail about 45 min up the road. (depending on weather). I voted Rock Climbing....I do both.. My guess is normally some sort of trauma that happend before they started jumping. Or they have loose joints. Ligaments can start to stretch out, then get to the point where your shoulder is not sitting in the socket right.... (yes im speaking of experince too ) Like it was mentioned once before, boxman does put ALOT of stress on your shoulder, if you have week muscles in the shoulder it can start wearing on the shoulder. But most of the time im sure it is was from prior trauma, ligaments dont just go back to the original shape after being stretched out.
