I am very lucky that neither of my dogs are like that. On occasion my husky might try and snag some of the shiba's food. But in general they are both well behaved with that, and with not stealing food off the table etc. they dont get people food unless it is mixed with the dog food, and that is very rairly and limited to normally just rice if I do it. Doesnt mean she likes it..she is probably thinking "Awe man this shit again" Every once in awhile I will add steamed rice and a bit of hot water to the dog food...making a bit of gravy with the water in the dog food. My two go apeshit over it. But the day after I do that I put the plain dog food down they look at me like WTF is this crap..where is what you gave us yesterday... When I do the rice thing is the only time they actually inhale the dog food, otherwise they are munchers..just eat little here and a little there. I could actually leave multiple days of dog food down and they wouldnt eat it all at once.

I hate to break it too you but that is how things work in most shelters...you need to understand that these dogs have already been tossed from home to home. Pets are not normally a good "Gift" Yes it is obvious here that he wants the puppy, but shelters have these rules to make sure that they do go to a good home. I worked at one for a while, trust me some of the people that come in there do not have the good intentions. Run far far far away from there! Ok I actually work for a competitor...Check to see what they can give you discount wise and benefit wise. I have heard things, but again it could be rumor. Check it out and talk to a few employees. But that route worked best for me...I dont need the job now, but no way in hell at the moment do I want to walk away from it. :) I love it. I wondered about that...then I also wondered about why you would stick it up your ass...it would be better suited to be up the ass of the morons screwing around sitting at the base of a jump..kind of like having kids running around the landing area...ok not quite as bad you can do a go around with ski's/board...but still dumb ass place to sit!
