  1. True. They actually get paid more. http://www.reuters.com/article/2007/08/03/us-workplace-women-idUSN0334472920070803 Never heard women complain about it before though. Au contraire mon frère http://www.reuters.com/article/2011/03/01/us-usa-women-idUSTRE7206CN20110301 .

  4. My first thought was to get defensive. Then I realized you were right. There are some whiney guys on here looking to blame woman for their failed relationships. With that being said, I think you will also find guys on here who are equal opportunity bashers and often self deprecating.
  5. From what I recall from the original thread, it was very new at the time of the accident. Maybe not first-load-of-jumpers new, but something around a couple or six months old. ?... http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=3830813;sb=post_latest_reply;so=ASC;forum_view=forum_view_collapsed;;page=unread#unread
  6. Interesting. I know they use pepper spray or a variation of it to ward off bear attacks. Although as I understand it dogs have a much more sensitive nose than people and bears are even more sensitive. So from your experience is pepper spray not a good idea as self defense for the average unarmed citizen? Are you just going to aggravate your attacker? I am going to guess that since you are using it and still trying to apprehend the sprayee as apposed to running away from the sprayee it is two completely different circumstances.
  7. Comp Air 7 Turbine registration (Chile) CC-PJE See photo attached.
  8. We went out to pizza last night after our daughter's benefit performance. Three of us on a tab at a table of 10. This time I checked. Yep, 18% gratuity added right in. Service was okay, but not spectacular. I didn't leave a dime extra. I wonder if your service really sucked could you call the manager over and have the gratuity removed. ***The couple and their friends amassed a $73 bill that they had no problem paying, but the service was so poor that they refused to cough up the mandatory 18% tip.*** So they were arrested. http://www.examiner.com/dc-in-washington-dc/bethlehem-couple-arrested-for-not-leaving-tip-at-lehigh-pub .
  9. But in safe mode I was able to get to the browser without the redirect.
  10. malwarebytes has worked for me in the scenario you are describing. I had to shut down and restart in safe mode to be able to access it without the redirect to the bullshit site.
  11. Acceptable collateral damage. Think of the children.
  12. Well at least the “shah269 - would you want him to leave dz.com?” poll seems to have disappeared. That’s something. I am disappointed a moderator even chimed in and thought a post/poll was okay.
  13. You can't help your friend except to be there for him. I am not saying this sarcastically. You may want to think about counseling.
  14. I think you wanted to post this in the "What are you having for dinner?" thread.
  15. davelepka Thank you. I'm sorry, I guess living in a world of process flow charts and risk analysis and process driven initiatives and design has permeated into my subconscious. Life isn't a system, there is no equation or trend. I'm going to have to think about this. Thank you I think the point was to stop thinking about it. +1 to everything davelepka said. .
  16. I still get goose bumps. I’m glad I saw it go.
  17. Unfortunately I don’t keep them as long as I would like. Clothes are made so poorly now. They wear out long before they should. A pair of Levis is made of such a light weight denim now that it will tear long before it fades. I guess that is why they sell them pre faded. And keep of my lawn dammit.
