  1. He did say it wasn’t a serious question. I'd like to go on record and say if you find my dead body I don’t care what you do with it. Damaging my dead body that is just going to be cremated (preferably in a funeral pyre at the dz or perhaps on a Viking longship) won’t make much of a difference to me. Now my family and friends may have another view on that.
  2. 1] Flash the guys. (Now the guys like you but the girls dislike you.) 2] Resist the guys. (Now the girls warm up to you.) 3] Ask the girls for advice about the guys. (Now the girls like you.) 4] Start making out with the girls, (Now everybody likes you.) .
  3. At least it removes the dilemma of choosing between sending flowers or sending a fruit basket. .
  4. Put a base rig on it, hold the pilot chute and away we go.
  5. I think people respond more to things that hit them harder in their wallet than any other methods. Imposing heavy taxes on those who want to have children is the most effective way of controlling population growth. Something has to be done. The Earth is quickly reaching it's tipping point on population growth. I'm not talking about how to control it in the US. I'm also talking about how the US can affect the worlds population growth. Don't you think we at least need to try so that future generations will not be left with a world stripped bare of natural resources? Then why are you against taking away the tax incentives that encourage people to have children. You're suggesting giving incentives for having children AND not having children. . Huh?? Rehmwa suggested “the fix would be to delete the incentives in the first place”. You said you disagree. Taking away tax breaks for people that have children would "hit them harder in their wallet"

  7. I suspect he was being half serious. I won’t speak for him but you bring up an interesting point. At what expense must you go to not “knowingly cause harm”? Sounds like peoples lives are in danger recovering the body not to mention the dollars involved. Where do you draw the line?
  8. and I'll get them dirty.
  9. You’re preaching to the choir.
  10. It wasn't me that was right. It was the dog. And he agrees that the 2nd one is really a squirrel. Again. my b yo. but I'm glad your pooch agrees with my 2nd choice. I'd hate to be wrong again. Oh look, your squirrel has a friend.

  14. I saw this on THE EARLY SHOW, CBS this morning. Guy was jealous that his friend made a tandem. He was too heavy to make one so he used it as his motivator to loose weight and gave himself a year to do it. He started a blog to track his progress. The CBS video isn’t up yet and he doesn’t have the actual jump video yet but he has before and after ground video. He lost an amazing amount of weight. The before weight loss and after is impressive. First video blog. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R_TpFylNk48&feature=related Most recent video blog. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iF7qJ7EBYO0&feature=related

  17. Unfortunatley at times there is only so much you can do. When I lived in Pennsylvania and worked as an EMT and dispatcher at times there was nothing we could do. Example: one day we were expecting a very bad ice storm. So we called in every available EMT and Paramedic. The storm came and so did the calls. At one point, while I was dispatching, we literally ran out of ambulances to send out on calls. My boss was driving to the minor inicidents in his pick-up truck to triage until a crew could get there. There's not a whole lot I could do in that situation. I was triaging the calls based on what people were telling me over the phone. I had to deal with one guy yelling at me wondering why he had been waiting 2 hours for an ambulance. I had to explain to him that he had a broken finger and simply didn't want to drive himself to the hospital, I needed to first send the ambulances to EMERGENCY calls. I know it's not a Dr's office but similar extreme circumstances can happen. Now if it's an office where it happens all the time than more than likely it's thanks to shitty management and it's time to get a new Dr. I understand your need to vent. My girlfriend is the office manager for a dentist and I here it all the time. Would you say that generally people coming to your office get to see the doctor within 10 minutes of their scheduled appointment time? Is 90% on time? 75% on time? Less? Regardless people should not act like assholes but can you appreciate their frustration?
