DING DING DING I am underemployed right now and it wouldn’t bother me if someone said "Oh you should really enjoy your time off." Some of us try (and I emphasize try) not to be negative about it. I have tried, between the work I do have and looking for other work, to do things I won’t be able to do when I am fully employed again. It is called making the best of it. I guess they have some association policy that you cant have anything within 7 feet of the pavement. I agree with you though, still doesnt stop the fact that they were on that guys property, where I grew up (New Hampshire) I'd shoot whoever stepped foot on my property and that would be the end of that. Yes, it is a crappy situation for the police and the Deldot workers to be in. They have to enforce a ruling they may not even agree with. If there was never any intention of letting them keep the hoop they should have just said so. If the homeowners had taken it down on their own they would have been able to keep it I’m sure. 60 years, I don’t think that neighborhood has been there for 60 years.

Between living a less than optimal location for dating and working in a less than optimal environment for dating (most if not all of my no skydiving friends are married with kids) I take what I can get. Until things change, possibly 2 years from now, this is my reality. First date is an interview based on small talk. I have read many but not all of the posts in this thread so maybe someone has said this already. Why don’t you just say “I honestly haven’t met the person I want to have children with yet”. It leaves the door open and is true. Maybe, despite your feelings now, someone could come along that would change your view and make you want to have children. Now with that being said, don’t take away a womens easy excuse for not seeing you again. It may be easier for her to say she doesn’t want to see you again because you don’t want children than to say “Shah is bat shit crazy so I don’t want to see him again”.

I’m not sure if shah disrespecting women is any worse than the disrespect you show them by protecting the poor defenseless ladies from shah. The women in that forum and our sport are pretty strong.
