Hmmm... http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=4151217;#4151217 "catch yall on facebook where the cool kids hang"
  2. Good point. A man would never do that.
  3. I have heard that before and I am sure it makes a difference. See: http://www.cbsnews.com/video/watch/?id=7381500n&tag=contentMain%3BcontentBody Funny, I had to go back and look at the photo again because I never noticed the dogs surroundings. I saw a dog that needs a friend. I hope they get placed and can all stay together.
  4. Read this somewhere. I don’t remember where. "I quit worrying about what other people thought of me when I realized they were busy worrying about what I thought of them." Works for me.
  5. [reply I'll stand by my statement. The ones that feel the need to ask can leave a space for someone happy to have a slot. Brilliant.

  7. Something about this doesn’t sound genuine. What are you writing the paper for?
  8. Really? I hate to burst your humanitarian bubble, but you realize the reason the video ever made it anywhere on the web, let alone to this site, is because it's a goof. Nobody is watching it and swelling up with pride because of the guy's triumph over adversity to build a revolutionary flying machine. Nobody. As previously stated, the design is an enlargement of a very popular RC aircraft that's being sold by the millions all over the web. It's nothing new and he didn't think of it. Beyond that, the underprivledged third-world builder somehwo got access to 8 motorcycle engines, 8 wooden props, 8 electronic tachs, what looks like a couple hundred feet of sqaure tube and a welder. It would be one thing if they guy built it all out of bamboo and cocconut shells like on Gilligans Island, but it's clear that while the guy is not an aeronautical genius, he's obviously got no shortage of fabrication skills or acees to raw materials. For you to overlook that, and then comment on others lack of rational thought is, well, irrational. You are one up-tight mother fucker. Take a few deep breaths and step away from the coffee maker. It's going to be okay.
  9. +1 If he gets killed, he will get killed living not sitting on his couch.
  10. 08/10/2011 "Checks made out to Silvia Winiger (or unmarked 20's) can be sent to: Silvia Winiger c/o Schneider's Kitchens 252 Route 31 North Washington, NJ 07082 She could also use cards, letters or even better, visitors. Silvia is likely to be in a wheelchair for at least a couple more months, and is temporarily housed at Schneider's Kitchens where the wheelchair is more easily maneuvered. She's mending slowly but surely, however, she's getting pretty bored. If you're looking for something to do, stop in and see her! She's pretty likely to be there!" 08/15/2011 "Due to overwhelming response and horrible weather this weekend, we're going to draw the winining raffle ticket on September 17 at the annual Herd Canoe Race. Silvia has said she'll be there. The raffle tickets are $5 each and you can send checks to Checks made out to Silvia Winiger: Silvia Winiger c/o Schneider's Kitchens 252 Route 31 North Washington, NJ 07082 We'll pull tickets for you and put your name on them. No need to be there to win!"

  12. I'm not talking about evo motors. Evo motors are the factory finally getting the shovel right. You said “I've just always gotten such a kick from the "Harleys require SOOO MUUUUCH WORK" crowd. They're wrong.” I believe that reputation came from the years AMF owned the company. They pushed production beyond the factories and quality controls capabilities. They were putting out a bad product. Now everyone likes to point to the exceptions of a bike they know about from that era that ran/runs great but as a whole they weren’t doing a good job. Now don’t get me wrong, if AMF hadn’t come along with their deep pockets Harley probably would have gone the way of the Dodo.
  13. You would be incorrect. I don't care what they ultimately developed (I have an evo and love it), they upped production and quality control went down. Brand new bike leaked right from the factory among other problems and there was no stopping those leaks. That reputation is what leads people to believe they are high maintenance.
  14. Not familiar with it. I am familiar with this one though. http://toughmudder.com/ I believe npgraphicdesign was going to compete in the May 2011 Tough Mudder.
  15. You can thank AMF for that.
  16. I did, end of stupid discussion And before anyone asks, I created Squeak. That is where it all began because I just showed up one day into nothingness from nothingness. You can lock this thread now.
  17. Two. I explained that a while back. Not trying to sneak around. The last post you made under your "Jaybird" profile made mention of cowards. I missed the explaination of why you have more than one profile. I just figured you didn't have the spine to own up to your posts, but that's not the case, is it? I'd love to meet you someday. For what it is worth, while I may not agree with much of what you post I have no doubt you have the balls to stand behind those posts.
