    Check the lines, above the cascades on the breaks. I had somehow managed to get a small 'ring' of some sort of fibers rolled up, that went up the lines to the cascades and kept them from fully opening up, putting a right turn in the canopy that took a little toggle to keep it straight. A 1 second job with a pair of scissors, and it flew like a champ. Just wish I would have snapped a picture first. The trick is, check the WHOLE LINE, as it may just roll down the lines if you were to just pull the lines above the cascade apart to spot it.     Which is just another reason I pack my main toggles folded, they 'pop' right open when the canopy opens, and I can easily put my hand thru them. I pack all of the reserve toggles this way as well. I figure if you're low and jacked up on adrenaline your fine motor control is the first to go, don't need to be trying to fish your gloved fingers inbetween a couple widths of toggle that have been folded up for 179 days.     The problem is, our hotel (yea, thats how contractors roll during field excersizes... can't complain) is across the street from the 'field' that the system is set up in, so they will notice if I'm not close enough to walk across the street.     I jacked up my knees pretty good on a surge, I was riding my rears in to make it back to the landing area, instead of just landing on the blacktop. Mistakes: 1: screwing around under canopy and not leaving myself wiggle room to get back 2: riding in rears to make it back, then dropping them at 50' without putting any toggle input 3: not landing on the damn blacktop I was pretty jacked up for a few weeks, but doctor said I'll be fine (ofcourse, it was a military doc, and my legs were still attached.)     Whats there to do? I'll be there for about 3 weeks of next month, however I am kind of limited as to what I can do.     I would love to... But I spent all of $1200 on my first rig. I priced a UPT container because I was having trouble finding something my size (I'm not exactly small...), $3500+ was a little pricey for a newbie...     No, I think you're correct about all that, it's just that they never actually put it into production. Might have been an issue with the TSO, or needing to re-certify something, or even a copyright deal with UPT. I recall something about them having been licensed to use skyhook technology from UPT, but I don't know if that was just talk. FWIW, I was planning on buying a new rig a couple years ago, and Mirage was going to be releasing the DRX 'anytime now'...     Buy mini-risers. When i first read your reply i was sure you where joking, but i keept thinking of it at work. Are you saying i should have minirisers because its easier to just attach the canopy to a different rig? Well, if its your goal to hook it up to different rigs, you can hook minis up to large or small rings, but you can only hook up the full size risers to the larger rings.
