    I have Brighthouse, which is running the roadrunner network here, I BELIEVE that is the same backbone that Comcast uses. The customer support sucks, and I HATE calling tech support... lucky for me I am a tech and can fix 99% of the issues myself If I have ONE more tech tell me to make sure my cable is plugged in when it's obviously their DNS servers, I will lose my mind.     Provided, of course, that's an option. Location makes a hell of a lot of difference. Very true... but the further you are from the main 'lines' the worse your DSL will be. Also, don't even THINK about satellite internet if you can get DSL or cable, this coming from a satellite communications guy, should mean something.     Cable offers faster speeds, but they're shared between the users in your area. Nowadays it's not so significant because of the amount of fiber-optics that are in place. DSL is a 'dedicated' connection, but generally MUCH slower. If trying to stream video, go with cable, hands down. DSL is remarkably slow even in theory, much less real world application.     Hopefully they won't pull those out anytime soon. People don't care where the memory card is, so long as they know how to put it in and take it out. They never put cameras in boxes or other enclosures. I'm thinking that the threaded lense adapter is going to be going with the dodo bird sometime in the not too distant future as well.     I think most of the engineers on here (me included) aren't whining. Just a very vocal few . It's just so easy to make fun of engineers and even more so of engineering chicks.     I know of a large DZ that's had talks of certifing some instructors as IAD, this way when there is low clouds, they can still get students up and not just sitting around.     USPA requires that all students have a visually accessible altimeter, but there are DZ's that don't give them to tandem students. Much the same way that they sometimes don't tell them anything more than how to arch. There's a bunch of reasons he might have switched off the green light. The pilot can't reasonably get up, come back and close the door or tell you to sit down. But it is bad ju-ju to ignore the light going off. You never know what could be going on that required him to flip it off.     One more thing, I'm fairly certian that the liquid lenses are NOT HD. It will still look better than using a regular SD camera, but for clarity and that good HD shot, get an HD lense. I have a Raynox 3030, it's a pretty big lense (especially compaired to a liquid) but it is VERY clear! You can tell a marked difference between two cameras, one with the liquid and one with the raynox.
