  3. I haven't used it that much for turn by turn navigation, but I've never had an issue with it finding me, giving me directions to get to 'point b' or anything like that. I have a Garmin integrated head unit that I installed in my truck for that.   4. That's interesting to hear; thanks. Anyone else? It wasn't uncommon to see my co-workers having to plug their phones in even before lunch due to battery issues. Granted the iPhone isn't MUCH better. My co-workers had all kinds of issues with their droids, but I think most of them were caused by them rooting and screwing with the settings. My iPhone 4 running iOS 5.0.1 and untethered jailbroken is more stable and I can't seem to find any bugs with it now. They were always having to reboot, lost connectivity and weird radio issues (signal strengths were inconsistent) I would take a droid if it was given to me, but I don't know if I would replace my iPhone with one.   5. Yes I do and as such I'm ok. Just asking if there is an option for getting maybe slightly larger ones. I'll talk to my rigger this spring. You can buy new risers, have someone build you new toggles, or have your current ones modified (not recommended). New risers would be my choice. My Mirage and UPT toggles were nice.   13. Looks like a ski helmet and goggles... neither of which are preferred for skydiving. Realistically you can get a pro-tec helmet and a pair of goggles pretty cheap and they will last you a while.   18. I would think they should make a new rating that's independent of the instructional ratings. Not all vidiots jump with students (other than tandems). I agree the safety part should be in there, but I don't think it should be along the same lines as an 'instructor'. But, I'm a new guy, just my 2¢.   23. IMO, if they don't want to coach, we shouldn't 'force' them into the rating. There's a huge difference between a coach that actually WANTS to be a coach, vs someone who is a coach just so they can fly video. There are probably some damn good coaches out there that would suck as videographers, and there are probably some damn good vidiots that would suck at coaching. If they don't want to do both, we shouldn't put it as a requirement for you to be a coach to get a camera 'ticket'. I love getting to do both, because they're both fun for me, but I can understand how one would want to video more than you would want to coach and vice versa..   25. Just read a study that said the SR22, even with the chute, is middle of the road in accident and fatality rates. The Mooney is a little worse, but I say no fault of either machine. It's all in the pilot's judgement.
