Iron Butterfly had 2 drummers so technically it was a duet ... Great, now it's in my head ___________________________________ Absolutely correct on the 2-drummers! There were actually, several bands with 2-drummers. I'm not sure but, I think, 'The Grateful Dead' was the first band with 2-drummers. I'm sure, someone otu there will know that. Chuck

I like the newer log books. I agree with the statement earlier, about more room to write information. Besides, they fill-up faster and all those log-books on the shelf looks impressive to clients. Chuck -

The comments in that linked thread are so like my experience, too. Got back into jumping after a long layoff, and all the b-12's were gone? I loved those, where'd they go? OK, I admit doing a hybrid may pose some risk, but other than that, I miss them. I particularly hate the standard thread-thru chest straps they have nowadays....but I've ranted about that before & I don't want to hijack this thread... ______________________________________ I had an old Vector, with 'Quick Eject Snaps'. They made me nervous so, I switched them to thread-through hardware! Chuck

_______________________________ Having judged a few chili cook-offs here, I can assure you... NO BEANS in 'real' chili! I have seen some folks here in Texas, scoop some red beans into their chili. You can take it from there. Eating a bowl of chili with home-made flour tortillas... to die for! Chuck

Chuck Never heard of Ura - methinks that story just spun off of the real Ima as a joke. I mean, really, WHY would anyone with that family name christen their daughter Ima? ___________________________________ Thank you Rebecca! I just thought, since you live in the Houston area, you would more than likely know. I always took that story, tongue in cheek and with a bit O' salt.
