Taylor? The guy is a hoot! Good-good voice. Really 'feels' the music. ALL entertainer! Personally, i thought his song selection was good. Heck, 'Not Fade Away', was a smash hit for The Rolling Stones in 1965! I wouldn't mind seeing Taylor win the whole enchilada! BTW... Taylor has completed work on an album with Keb-Mo! How's that??? I watch this years Idol and am reminded of last year's contestants. Chuck

Yes, it really was. I don't think, I've ever enjoyed that show as much as last night. Is it my imagination or does it appear that American Idol, has set a 'pattern' for it's contestants? Here's what I'm getting at: cute little blonde, country girl who's a good singer and all personality: Kelly, Carie (last year's winner). Cutsie little crooner with glasses, a little on the frail side: Kevin, Federov (last year) and so-on. Do you notice that? Chuck

________________________________ You got that right! The girl can definately sing. Besides that, she's cuter'n a bug! Win, lose or draw, that girl is goin' places! I thought Taylor did a helluva job on; "Not FadeAway" Chuck I missed Taylor's performance, but I have *no* doubt it was great. Kellie really pulled out all the stops tonight. I'd swear she's been pro for years the way she pulled off tonight's performance. Great choice of song and she was struttin' her stuff. It was cool to watch. Walt __________________________________ I got a kick out of it when she told Seacrest that she had talked with her Grand-dad, earlier in the week and he told her to do a Patsy Cline song. I think, Grand-dad knows what he's talkin' about. Another one who knocked me out was ol' Daughtry and his version of "I Walk The Line"! WoW! Even Barry Manilow was impressed with him. Simon, of course, caught hell for some of his opinions but, the man tells the truth. No frills, man. All in all, good, good show. Chuck

We changed them in "The blink of an eye?" Not quite! It took years and the loss of thousands of lives of our troops. Not too mention, the tonnage lost in war ships and civilian ships. We must also consider the U.S. with it's history of violence and internal fighting and squabbling. Also the fact that we have had 'internal' terrorism since before our civil war... Ku Klux Klan! What have we done about that??? I think, we haven't cleaned-up our own back yard and we are so concerned with soemone elses!? It's real easy to sit back and comment and argue over what other folks are doing yet, we don't do anything about our own problems, right here. Looks like, every country in this world, has problems. Why, do we feel as though, we are the only one's who can 'fix' every other countries problems? Chuck

______________________________________ Here in West Texas, we got some much needed rain. Rained in the Panhandle and put the fires out. Now, there's flooding. Other than that, the trees and flowers are blooming and it's a bit on the chilly side. Chuck

Yeah, it can be. I always looked on the bright side... 'I got mine!' Chuck

_____________________________________ Oh, it's 'definately' a guy thing? The idea is, to divert a man's thoughts during sex to avoid 'embarrassment'. I tried to word that as delicately as I could. Chuck

Ah, Spring! When a man's thoughts turn to baseball... a means of avoiding pre-mature ejaculation! Chuck

Some of these guys are just sooooo good, one really has a difficult time differrentiating between live and studio. It's all good! A big HELL YEAH, for Steve Vai! Chuck

That CD, really has a 'studio' sound to it but... who cares? I'll tell you what, there are some really incredible guitar pickers out there today. Keith Richards, Ron Wood, Carlos Santana, Joe Satriani and etc. When I was growing-up, i listened to Chet Atkins, Merle Travis, Les Paul and Mary Ford and Andres Segovia, Wes Montgomery and a few others. There's some real guitar players out there today. I like it! Chuck

...and all these lotteries we have! You talk about bringing-out the greed in folks! Everybody's gonna get rich quick. What really cracks me up is, on each lottery ticket, it's states on the back-side: "If, you feel you have a gambling problem... call this number and etc. I see folks that are rather obviously, poor, buying a quart of beer and a fist-full of lottery tickets. It's just gotten crazy. Sure, I buy some scratch-offs, now and again but, not every day or even every week. The lottery folks, are making a gambling problem. Chuck

You always have to be careful! You 'kinda' learned the hard way but, everyone is safe. I'll bet the ranch, you never do that again! Good ending, to what could've been really ugly. Remember: Adreniline, up... learning, down Chuck

______________________________ I saw where, you are from New Zealand. I think, you've pretty much summed it up! You left out... driven by greed. As for our news, I watch various sources but, have a hard time sorting the grain from the chaf. With all the 'spin-doctoring' and covering-up and flat-out propaganda, it's not easy. Then too, we aren't the only ones who have that 'situation'. Chuck

I'm assuming, everyone is safe!? I'll be watching for your up-date. Chuck

_________________________________ Another question I have is: Why, does the rest of the world have to be like 'us' (The U.S.A.)? Seems like, that's what we're trying to do. Chuck

_________________________________ Which raises the age old question: 'Who, told the government of the United States that they were to be the 'world' police'? I think, a lot of times, we stick our nose in where doesn't belong. If, someone else asks for our help, that might be different. Usually, there's some other reason than 'world peace'. It usually amounts to someone gaining or prospering from some situation. I think too, if we'd put as much effort into taking care of ourselves and 'fixing' us first, we'd be too busy to stick our nose where it doesn't belong. We tend to get ourselves spread a bit thin, sometimes. We keep 'loaning' money to other countries and we don't see much return on our investment. We've got ourselves in such debt, it's un-real. That, usually means we pay higher taxes. as the American public, we get 'spoon-fed' propaganda and find ourselves supporting some pointless cause and the politicians who want us to believe it's 'good'. We've got a lot to do, right here in the good ol' US of A. Chuck
