    Stupid Jokes

One blonde, standing on the river bank, yells over to the blonde on the other bank; "How do I get to the other side?" The other blonde yells back; "You are on the other side!" Chuck
  2. ____________________________________ That's it! I knew, there was something about him, last night! If, he starts doing 'cow-punk'... we'll know for sure! Chuck
  3. _____________________________________ You, enjoyed that? I thought, it was the worst thing I've ever seen on television. It was degrading and denegrating to the folks who lost and and looked like a bad rendition of Branson! The very last two minutes were o.k. Maybe, I just saw it wrong. I still think it was 'cheap' t.v. At least, Talor won. Chuck Of COURSE its 'cheap tv'! Its a High School talent show sponsored by Coca-Cola...but this year was a LOT better than previous years. At most they would have ONE guest star come out and sing ONE song then they'd drag all the 'loser' Muppets out as filler. Truly unwatchable. I TIVO'd this and zipped back and forth during LOST commercials and I was pretty impressed with the guests. My favorite besides Prince...Mary J singing 'One Love'...that was the moment I actually hit the 'record' button so I got it all and will watch it when I'm sick and can't move my arms or legs nor find the remote. I saw David Hasselhoff crying (wtf???) and I'm going to scan the audience for Justin Guarini. I want to see if he made it off the milk cartons yet. I thought the kids in 'bama with the gray hair was a riot and a unique way to show support. I'm glad Taylor won--IMO he's a bigger talent than Katherine; he is consistent, he's 'different' and he's truly entertaining. Cheers~~April P.S. Coke paid a LOT of money for those stars to be there. Prepare for your coke to cost more than gas (or the OTHER coke ) _____________________________________ I was in and out of the room during the show. When something sounded good, I'd watch it. Katherine, is so boring! Almost painful. Her playing to the camera so much, made me nauseus. Yeah! Tha 'Bama kids were gettin' down! That, was a hoot. It was just the tacky 'awards' segments that I didn't care for and the 'Branson-esque' show tune type segments. I just wanted to know who the hell was gonna win the damned thing! Like you said, Coke put-down a buncha bucks for advertising and all and by God, they were gonna get their money's worth! Yeah! What's with Hasselhof being there? Germany is the only place on the globe that likes him! That no-talent goof! I don't drink Coke anyhow, so I really don't care about them. Well folks... there's next season! Hopefully, they'll get a new host!? The judges can stay but, Seacrest has gotta go! Chuck
  4. Well, we did learn that Meat Loaf is a terrible singer and waaaaay more spastic than Taylor. In fact, barring Prince, the Idols out sang every single celeb. Zipp0 _____________________________________ Yeah! I have always kind of enjoyed Prince's music. Even though, he got 'pissed' at 'Dire Straits'. The guy is really talented! Never have cared for Meatloaf. The Idols, did do a good job. Chuck
  5. __________________________________________ Playin' the age card? Whadda' cheap shot! I would like to think, with my age, has come a bit of wisdom. O.K., O.K.... I'll give you this... yes, there were some portions that were better than others. It's 'masses' television. It is meant to appeal to the bubble-gummers and those afraid of reaching a higher life-time level. (That's 'bull-shit for growing old). If, you enjoyed the show, that's great. I didn't particularly care for it. Lordy, I'm starting to sound like this is SC! Chuck

  7. ______________________________ Yea! That's a heckuva thought. They could make a sit-com with her and Wolgang! The girl has got a lot of try in her. She hasn't had the best life growing-up. Chuck
  8. Those songs were utter 'crap'! Does anyone know who writes/arranges these songs, they ought to be shot. I hate what they have made Bo sing. I hope his next cd has HIS music on it! If they market Taylor correctly, he might do well and they probably won't . ________________________________ They probably won't market him right. The music industry is into what they think will sell. If Joe Blow had a #1 with a bullet, they'll try to make the next 10 new-comers just like Joe Blow. That's why Waylon and Toby fought the industry big wigs to do their own music... and Waylon and Toby won! Chuck Chuck
  9. __________________________________________ YEAH! Taylor WON! Too cool! Unfortunately, we had to sit through 1hr. 58min. of the worst television and crap since 'The Gong Show'! My God! Whoever came-up with all that garbage needs to be put on Devil's Island for the rest of their lives! Making fun of people who didn't make it on the show? Gimme a break! Giving them awards? Had to be Seacrest's idea. Chuck Eh.... it could have been much worse. Congrats Taylor! __________________________________________ I don't know. It was pretty bad. It was kinda cute, to have Kellie Pickler and Wolfgang Puck going over menu items but, it came across as a 'put-down' on Kellie for what she said about calamari. I would've preferred she sang. It's over... we can hope for a better show, next year. Go Taylor! Chuck Chuck

  12. ____________________________________ Katherine should be on stage all-right... there's one leavin' at 8:00! Taylor's gotta win this thing! He's got it goin' on... dog! Yo... yo... yo... check it out... Doood! Anyone remember Carrie... Underwood? Last year's Idol winner! She won two Country Music awards last night. I don't know of any other Idol winners who've done that good! Chuck
  13. Sometimes, arguing with some people is like explaining a tax return to a rock. Chuck
  14. c'mon, keeping a good meal down as you get older gets more and more important every year. admit it. that and bowel movements in any case, good ruck _________________________________________ I was gettin' nervous! I thought for a minute, you were gonna leave-out the bowel movement! I'm still, not to the metamucil stage yet and the prostate is the size of a teenager's! Leastwise, that's what the doc said! I think, he knows better than me! Chuck
  15. your choice - be known for throwing up while eating unusual cuisine. Or for having erectile dysfunction. I'd take GB's reputation given those two choices..... But as I get older maybe I'll change my mind _____________________________________ Whaoa! I wasn't trying to ruffle any feathers here. Sure, I think I'd puke too, eating 'unusual cuisine'. I don't really know if Mr. Dole has 'erectile dysfunction or not. I was just making reference to the 'field day' the media had with Mr. Bush's visit to Japan. Chuck
  16. Nah, Bob Dole simply misunderstood. See, back when he ran for President, he visited Japan, where someone told him, “we wish you good ruck on erection.” Apparently, he took it to heart. The rest, as they say, is history. _______________________________- That, is the funniest thing I've heard in days! At least Dole did better in Japan than W.'s daddy! Chuck
  17. _____________________________________ Yup! Bwa-hahahahahahahahahaha... Have a good one, 'Grav'! Chuck
  18. Walking down the sidewalk, yes. But your car and you in your car have some rights to privacy / protections against unreasonable search. So I disagree with you. . ___________________________________________ Your vehicle is 'in public'. Because you are in your vehicle, in public, does not mean that you have the 'privacy' you enjoy in your home. In other words, you can't go down the street beating-off without either someone complaining or being arrested for 'lewd behavior'. To answer your question in regard to my wife 'turning-in' a 'dirty' cop... she's done it! I know, personally, a former cop who had an alchohol problem. He was arrested by a 'fellow' officer, processed and finger-printed like anyone else. He went through the legal process and paid an attorney and lost his license and his job. I know of another cop who was highly regarded in this community who, was later found guilty of rape, child porn and having explosives (C-4 & etc.) He is serving a life sentence without the possibility of parole, in a Federal prison. You want me to go-on? You bet your ass, cops take care of one another. They also 'weed-out' the bad ones. Shall I tell you of all the good, the police do? I could fill volumes. The good ones, far and away, out-number the bad ones. It is quite obvious that I am 'pro' police. It's quite evident that you are not at all that 'fond' of the police. That's your choice. History has proven that, societies need someone out among the public to enforce laws and 'maintain' order. You may not always agree with them but, I would hate like hell to see what it would be like without them. Having been in law enforcement on a city, county and Federal level, I think, I have room to talk. Now, that I have gotten a very good view of your thoughts and feelings toward law enforcement, as you have mine, I don't feel, we have anything more to discuss. Have a nice day. Chuck
  19. F your wife is aware of any bad cops by way of their actions and she doesn’t report it, she is an dirty. Special relationship. Is this a justification to lie and be dishonorable? And then let their friends go, or let influential people go while citing some poor slob….. It’s outta gas man. What of they lie to get their cop buddy off the hook for a shooting, killing, vehicle accident, etc? Happen ALL the time; the rationalizations don’t get anymore fun for those who are screwed. By you posting the worst of the worst scenarios I think we see your agenda. Absolutely true, but the difference is that I’m not sworn to uphold the law and the …… truth. I expect cops to be honest as their contract requires, a far cry from perfect. I have no problem being far more critical of a cop. ____________________________________ Wow! With logic like yours, I'm just at a loss for words! Chuck
  20. 'Bush-Clinton'... does have a funny ring to it but, I tend to agree with some of the others who said, they are just using their 'titles' to promote some good in this country. I don't believe, there is any political motivation... why would they. Cool for them. Politically, the idea makes as much sense as Bob Dole advertising an erection enhancer. Good for Clinton and Bush! Chuck

  23. you can ticket bicyclists as well. And if their behavior is egregious, they should be. The cyclists that blow through a busy intersection are the same assholes that blow through a red light in a 5000lb SUV. And the ones that slow at the sign but don't want to unclip are just like the majority of us that do 'California stops.' So long as they yield properly I don't care. ______________________________________ Hear, hear!! Chuck
  24. uh...they do. Also run red lights. ___________________________________ ...and car drivers get tickets... sometimes. Chuck
  25. ______________________________________ Something needs to be done about the media! F'rinstance: When we first went into Afghanistan looking for Osama. Geraldo Rivera, did a live broadcast while with our troops. the location was supposed to be 'hush-hush'. Geraldo, gave exact coordinates where he and the troops were! That is just one example of the media. I realize, the aspects of our 'freedom of speech' but, something like telling the world where our troops are, is wrong. Yes, we have 'freedom of speech' but, there's something that goes along with it... responsibility. Chuck
