Here, a few years ago, a tornado struck a tiny West Texas town. Everything in the tiny farming community was turned to rubble... except for the Catholic Church and a statue of the Virgin of Guadalupe out in front of the church. Was there a message here? Chuck

Pretty much summed up what I think. Also cheating is dangerous, so many STDs out there. _____________________________________ Exactly! When folks get to drinking and all, morals just zooom out the window. Sounds to me like, just 'dating' can be dangerous. It's like the 'T' shirt I saw at the DZ, one time; "I remember when sex was safe and skydiving was dangerous!" Chuck

Cheating is stoopid! If, you can't be honest in a relationship... you don't belong there. Any trust at all, goes right out the window. If, you want to 'play around', have the guts to say so. Chuck

...and this list has what to-do with what?? And why did you leave out the other 80+/- from wherever this list comes from? These groups are not telling the world what to do about global warming and then turn a 180 and buy carbon credits that don't do anything. Additionally, despite weird press coverage, a lot of these churches walk their talk in spreading good will and preaching their faith on missions, etc. I don't necessarily believe everything their preaching, but it's their right and if they have the means to use a jet, hey, go big. They aren't making excuses. There is a key difference in point. ______________________________ I believe, it was on '60-Minutes', they looked into these 'high-dollar' preachers and talked with some of their followers. The end result was, not only do the preachers want a 'posh' life-style but, their followers also, want them to live high on the hog. Chuck

Kinda makes you wonder if this guy really does tough it out. I picked the shit outta the swamp episode.... he wouldn't go in the water (because it was too dirty), had no fresh water, yet each morning he woke up and all the mud he'd plastered all over him was clean gone. That and he all of a sudden had all sorts of tools available to him that he didn't have before. But there are some very helpful tips for survival.... g __________________________________ I could probably pick the shit out of any given episode of that show. Chuck

_______________________________________ Wow! Well said! Thinking, like you mentioned, just shows how ego-centric so many of us humans are. I believe, God has quite a sense of humor... he made us, didn't He? Chuck

Uh-oh. I knew this would turn ugly fast. _______________________________ The mere mention of his name... Chuck

The gasoline producers are just cashing-in on the 'Summer Travel Season'. Then, the prices will drop a bit then, go up for the 'Holiday Season'. It's a 'seasonal' thing! Chuck

____________________________________ What about, what those 'bought-off' politicians are supposed to do for the people who voted them into that office? They couldn't give a crap less about you and me. They're just looking for the big bucks they can make 'on the side' from the big business lobbyists. Get rid of the lobbyists and maybe, you and I might see a little more out of the politicians we vote for. Do you actually call or write (postal, not email) your politicians? They're reachable. Lobbyists are experts on the subject matter they cover. Voters, and Members on most matters are not. You think their value is only about dollars. It's not. If I wanted inexperienced, ill advised junior legislators running Congress, I'd look at what happens on the San Francisco board of supervisors first. It ain't pretty. ____________________________ No sir, I don't write or call them. I've spoken with one or two in person and it all wound-up the usual glad-handin', glib, political B.S. I'm sure, those lobbyists are 'experts' in their particular field and I also believe, they try to 'sweeten the pie' for the politicians, to get what they want. I don't know anything about San Francisco so, I'll have to take your word for it. I just don't trust any of them. Chuck

I think you have a sampling problem. "Those people" seem to have one parade a year in any city I've ever lived. _________________________________ My weak attempt at humor. Chuck

Term limits... 1 term and go back to doing something respectable. NO campaign contributions...( eliminate the bribery) to ANYONE.... you donate to a general fund that ALL share from for elections. Amen!!! Although I'd probably make it two terms, max _______________________________________ ...and get rid of the lobbyists!!! Chuck

Hope, you had a Happy birthday! Have a whole bunch more! Chuck

I don't think, there will be much seal clubbing, this year. The last I saw on the news, all the 'clubber's' boats were stuck in the ice in the North Atlantic and they were about out of supplies. Chuck

They've taken a manslaughter plea bargain rather than go to trial for murder. I'd hope they're placed in the general population, but either way it's nice to see at least some accountability. Story Here Blues, Dave ___________________________________ They screwed-up and were held accountable for their actions... good enough. By the way, thanks Dave, for the follow-up on this. Chuck

Back to the nickname. While I don't swing that way, if I DID, I would most definitely do her. I think she's pretty....nice tan, long hair and shapely. What's not to like? _____________________________ In all honesty, she is very attractive. I was just having a little fun with the topic. Chuck

I still say all those who are sying she is ugly whould still do her if they had the chance... Easy to be all high and pure on a chat board.... _______________________________ Did I say, she was ugly? Huh, did I? Well, I wouldn't 'do', I am married. I just said she had a 'butter face'. She is kinda hot... in a buttery sense! Chuck
-
LOL!! You know, I wouldn't have known what that meant had I not done a search here on dz.com to make sure that no one had posted about the commercials before. I came across another posting and read all about someone saying she had a "butterface." And now I know what it means! I learned something new today!!! ____________________________________ See? BF is not only entertaining... it's educational! Not to be confused with some of Billy and Walt's posts. Chuck

You got something against parades? I thought everyone loves a parade. _________________________________ Sure! I love parades. I've even been in parades but, those folks have a parade at the drop of a hat. Chuck
