I guess you cant place someone under citizens arrest if they are killing your livestock. Probably not... they weren't U.S. citizens! Chuck

Yes, it did! Chuck

That i didn't know. Shoot them for trespassing then. Just make sure to post signs in Spanish first that all trespassers will be shot. Thats still legal in the U.S. right? Nope, one rancher is still in jail for holding a group of mexicans at gunpoint, until the border patrol came to pick them up, (he had lost several cattle over the montsh to butchers) He was arrested for false inprisonemnt! And his land is VERY will posted in spanish! To me, that's bull-shit. We have the right to protect our property... would the rancher have been better off shooting them and claim 'self defense'? Chuck

Plain talk is what I understand. Seems to me, we have the 'National Guard' in each state. The governor of each state can call upon the Guard to protect their state. The National Guard has been called-out during factory strikes and 'race riots'. Seems to me, they should be able to call-out the Guard to protect our border cities. Do we have to wait for an all out attack from drug cartels and mass blood shed? Wait a second... aren't all the Guard units in Afghanistan and Iraq? Chuck

Not a decision, just an opinion piece printed in Canada. Oops! Whatever it is, I hope it's true! Chuck It's not true. You might want to read posts 13 and 20. O.K. Chuck

Hmm, so this problem today isn't any different from a century ago. Why is this such a hot button issue then? Could it be because it is an election year? The problem is much different today! Then, it was a few head of cattle. Today, it's human lives! People are being murdered on both sides of the border all because some self-centered 'recreational drug' users need their daily fix! Chuck

I hope, this is true and holds-up. If, the Federal govt. is going to wallow in denial that there 'is no problem on our southwest border', the border states CAN do something about the problem. We've had running gun battles between law enforcement and 'uniformed' Mexican 'invaders' protecting loads of dope. Border Patrol and sheriff's deputies stay 'camped-out' at the entrance road to where I live. I think, those politicians who we voted into office, need to visit our southwest border and see for themselves. Not just looking from some hotel window, either. This decision is great news! Chuck

I think, I'd want to know 'how long', also. Even knowing 'how long' can get to a person. Keeping their spirits up can do big things for their survival. Chuck

Amazing! I hope it's sooner that they get them out but as long as they can keep them alive and their spirits up. Chuck

When I was a kid, my foot slipped off the pedal when I was riding standing-up. That cross-bar, broke my fall! Chuck

What is it with little kids and damaging dad's nuts? Is it because they have some deep seeded drive to be the only child and get all the attention if, they can end the dynasty? When my two boys were little, it seemed I got knee-dropped by them more times than I care to count! They always catch you off guard. Chuck It's a skill they're born with. I forgot to add that I've gotten slapped down there by my 4 year old trying to get my attention. "daddy, daddy, daddy, daddy..." SLAP "uuuuuurrrggggghhhh, sweetie, NEVER slap me between the legs, got it I'm reminded of a story my college roommate told me about being a kid on Saturday morning, running into his parents' bedroom going "daddy daddy daddy" SLAP! His dad screamed and rose immediately into a sitting position and all my roommate could do was start to cry and say I'm sorry. His dad just waved him off and mom woke up to see what was going on and giggled (bitch). A few years later his own kid brother did it to him, and later that day he told his dad what happened. So his dad went right to the younger brother and promptly gave him a $20 bill. Chuck

When ZP first came-out, one of our jumpers, a guy who is always thinking of ways to save money while being 'inventive', decided he could make his F-111 canopy like ZP by spraying the top and bottom skin with 'tent sealer'! end result... it didn't work! Chuck

Thanks friend... And to those who didn't like the song, Im young, sue me...its not the 1940's anymore That's too bad, since the 1930s-1940s was the golden era for big band, swing and then the 50s saw the birth of modern jazz. The '30's and '40's also brought blues from the 'juke joints' to the public ear. Which led to 'Rock n' roll'. I'm still, trying to figure-out where some of todays music (?) came from. Most of it sounds like a cross between Cape Canaveral and castrating pigs in a metal building! Chuck

Actually Chuck ..... that would be Burbank, since it was the primary airport before LAX really came into its own. I personally think Ex-LAX is sorta fitting for Burbank Shows, how much I know about the Left coast. Chuck
-
The exit for the L.A. airport could've been... EX-LAX! Chuck

Thanks friend... And to those who didn't like the song, Im young, sue me...its not the 1940's anymore That's o.k. I heard it from my folks when I was young about 'the Rolling Stones', 'The Who', 'Led Zeppelin' and a few others. Each generation has their 'own'. Chuck[/reply In the words of the great Bob Dylan...."O the times they are a-changin'" cheers mate -Johnny Yes, they are. I've tried, to honestly listen to some of the 'new stuff' and my old hears don't quite get it. Then too, it's no longer 'my generation'. Chuck
