...and that's why, all the towns and big cities look like 'cookie-cutters'. They're losing their 'individuality'. If, they want what they had... why move? We could all move to the cold-ass north and change things around up there, right? Ummmmm....No. I say let the Canadians move south just a little...but not too much. Always thinkin'... aren't you? Chuck

Tell that to people who complain about airports or bases nearby that were there decades before their subdivision was built. They probably moved there with some form of 'security feeling' but when all goes wrong... look-out! Chuck

yes, the quote from the homeowner suggests he has a much bigger figure in mind. Comments in the Chronicle article assert he was laid off from a tech company earlier in the year. I'm curious as to how long that bomb squad facility has been there in regard to how long that subdivision has been there. Those people knew it was there and need to realize, there are no guarantees. I thought it was "Calitigation" Any way you slice it... someone's gettin' screwed! Chuck

They'll of course, settle out of court because the guy is out of work and can't afford the cost of a trial. I think, Mythbusters has been really 'stand-up' in this mess. They are taking responsibility for what happened yet, someone is looking to profit from it. Chusk

Revising history are we? Let me ask you...Had the issue of secession not been the reason, would there have been a war? Sees like, someone, somewhere, is trying to 'revise' some portion or another of our history. In regard to the 'Stars and Bars', just like the U.S. flag, has been met with some form of abuse. Someone got their feelings hurt because they saw the Stars and Bars as something else. They never thought to research the real meaning of the flag. To me, it's a symbol of the South and if, the South is so bad, why are so many people from all-over flocking to live in the South? When they get there, they want it like the place they left behind. I don't think, it's just Mythbusters here. What about the Sheriff's Dept. being the owners of the sight where this started from? They had 'people' there at the time and supervised the expiriment. Seems to me, folks can't put this all on the Mythbuster folks, alone. Just a thought. Chuck

Spoiled little people goin' all 'Baldwin' over little shit. Chuck -
Now. it's going to be... who gets the best lawyer and the biggest pay-off. I read that the Mythbusters folks said they would take care of any damages but some people aren't satisfied with that. It is, Cali-fornication, after all. Chuck

Arthritis has taken-over most of me but I can still 'work' the neck just slower than before. I just try to block it out but these cold December days are a bit trying. Chuck

Yes, IBTL. I was watching 'Flying Wild Alaska' on the tube and they showed a guy coming out of a little store in Bethel, Alaska. There was a a sign next to the door that read: "D.B.Cooper You have a message!" Chuck

'Then play on' I have that album! The late Brian Jones played an anniversary model Gretsch. At least, you're getting back into it! That's the good part. As long as the fingers still work! Chuck

My first gitar was (still have it) a 1965 Gibson B-25. Paid for it with a paper route. In 1992, I made a solid body electric in my garage. Mahogany neck (Fender style head-stock) and white maple body, single cut-away. DiMarzio pick-ups, Les Paul bridge and Schaller tuning keys. Black and white laminated pick-guard. I had a luthier look at it when it was done and recieved so very flattering comments. Chuck

I can sing pretty damn good with spot on accuracy, but I don't have the stardom look... I'm more the disgusting dirty white biker trash look. Got a face for radio hu? Yup. The second picture looks like the 'American Dad'! Chuck "Good morning U.S.A.!!!! ..." Chuck

Nice - Which Gretsch ? Anniversary. I first saw that guitar when I was a kid, taking lessons. It was the first year they came-out. The music store owner took it down so I could get a closer look. That did it! Some day, I was going to get one. A few years later, I did! Mine is U.S.A. made! Not 'Baldwin' era. Chuck

And for Dragnet! He went back a long way! He was always worth watching...whatever he was in. He also appeared in a couple episodes of 'Gunsmoke'. The man was a remarkable actor. If, he was in it... it was good. Chuck and he played the piano player in "Frankie and Johnny" with Elivs I sure didn't know that! Chuck

Why? It makes the guitar sound like anything but a guitar. I'll stick with my Gretsch and tube amp. Chuck
