    I've seen, basically that, during one of the 'oil booms', here in West Texas. In the early 1980's, from Lubbock to Del Rio and Southeast New Mexico. The money was flowing and if, you showed a pay-stub, you got a loan for anything. All the while, banks and loan companies knew what would come but they were going to get their money while they could. The inevitible 'bust' came and they were left with a huge number of notes they could never collect on. Chuck

    I tend to agree with you. This does seem like a more sane approach to a stand-off. the Sheriff can keep an 'eye' on things while planning the best approach to the situation. Rather than smashing in doors with guns blazing. Also, it's a good example of law enforcement agencies working together rather than a case of egoes fighting each other for 'who's in charge'. Also, while all this is going on, the 'family' is stacking-up charges against themselves. Chuck

    Big Brother is already here! Every man, woman and child has a cell-phone with camera capabilities. They post it on youtube. Hell, law enforcement monitors youtube because idiot bad guys post video of their crimes. Everywhere you go, there are surveilance cameras. You can't change socks without being on camera! The government doesn't have to do it... we do it to ourselves. Not how we imagined it, huh? Not to mention we save the government for cameras and etc. Chuck
