This has not been proven. I'm not saying that they don't, because they most likely do, but there is no confirmation that this is the case. If you can show me some information proving otherwise, I would be very interested to see it. Signing a treaty would be saying that they have nuclear weapons when they will neither confirm nor deny it. If it comes to it, I hope you are this strongly opinionated about Iran signing a nuclear treaty. I don't have all the information about this so I won't make an uninformed comment. Most of Israel's engagements have been in response to being attacked. They have made pre-emptive attacks before, but its not normally the case. This is opening up a different discussion that would not be relevant to the topic of this thread, so I will leave it for another time. I am an educated American Jew who supports Israel. I don't support everything that they do, but I feel very strongly about their right to defend their existance. Nucks? Are you trying to say that the Israelis have Canadians without signing a treaty? Israel has every right to be upset about this. For years, Iran has been talking about wiping Israel off the map. Would you be comfortable if a country that has repeatedly called for your destruction had the ability to carry it out? Coach course cost - outrageous or not?
mrubin replied to aeroflyer's topic in General Skydiving Discussions
I've had my coach rating for a couple years and have only charged a student for one jump. And that's because he went to manifest before talking to me. When I first started I got a lot of free coaching and I feel that it's important to pay it forward. "I fly because it releases my mind from the tyranny of petty things." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery -

As opposed to what; just running around on grass for 2 hours and kicking balls in every direction except at the goal? +1 "I fly because it releases my mind from the tyranny of petty things." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

History lessons for the young pups
mrubin replied to faulknerwn's topic in Skydiving History & Trivia
Some of us young pups enjoy learning the history of our sport. I've read the Scary Stories from the Old Days thread all the way through, twice. But the best way to learn history is to sit around the bonfire and listen to the old dogs tell stories. Not necessarily. Halloween was a little over a week ago, so it could be part of a costume. "I fly because it releases my mind from the tyranny of petty things." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

I don't understand why everyone only focuses on the differences and not on the similarities. Like both sides strongly support unmarried sex. "I fly because it releases my mind from the tyranny of petty things." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

Talk to the instructors and coaches at your dz about this. Start doing some of your coach jumps. And on the jumps where you do go solo, talk to an instructor first and come up with a dive plan. Then debrief them on how it went afterwards. You won't get the same feedback as having a coach in the air with you, but it helps you learn to remember the details of the whole skydive. ***I didn't know they had the hand sanitizer stations. But that skeeves me out thinking the handles of them are gross as hell... LOL. My imagination gets the best of me with that kind of stuff. But still good to know they're available!! Thanks!! On the one cruise I was on they had the hand sanitizer stations all over the place and they were all motion activated so you never had to actually touch anything. I'd still bring your own just to be safe. "I fly because it releases my mind from the tyranny of petty things." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery

There's the IHOP, which is on the dz. It's not fancy, but it's right there and doesn't cost much ($15 a night). "I fly because it releases my mind from the tyranny of petty things." - Antoine de Saint-Exupery
