  2. It is none of the above. 1. Bad - Only according to you. 2. False - see above. 3. Oxymoron - don't know why you tried to use such a big word incorrectly. An oxymoron (from Greek "sharp dull") is a figure of speech that combines normally contradictory terms like Jumbo Shrimp. 4. Hypocritical - a hypocrite thinks that what he usually professes does not somehow apply to him. Everybody who has indicated you are deceitful has also indicated it is something they wouldn't do. 3. I think he was just making an observation about her physical appearance. It was not a comment about her qualifications. I wouldn't even call it a joke - just an observation. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  4. I learned in grade school that the longest word is 'smiles' because there is a mile between the first and last letter. I later learned that a league is 3.45233834 miles, so 'beleaguered' is more than 3 times longer that 'smiles' For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

  6. A rainbow was my favorite symbol growing up as a kid. About 20 years ago when I first saw a rainbow sticker on a car I thought, "Cool - I got to get me one of those". When I found out my favorite symbol had a new meaning I was a little disappointed. Not that there is anything wrong with that. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  7. Most people prefer to be honest. It is not on obligation, just the way most of us were brought up. You are clearly acting in an immoral manner. I was dancing around semantics and giving you the benefit of the doubt. You have removed all doubt. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  8. The keyword is "cheating". If you are in an open marriage or have some other understanding it isn't cheating. Back to the Walmart example - I would be willing to bet that if I approached the Manager of a Walmart and told him it was my intent to purchase a product, use it, then return it for a complete refund he would still sell it to me. He knows the Vendors have already paid a return allowance and is betting that I will forget or not follow up on returning the item. If I made my intent clear prior to the purchase, I wouldn't consider the act immoral. As a tangent, I wouldn't let someone who did this without making his intent clear pack my parachute. I probably wouldn't even share a beer with him. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  9. The problem with all this is making the assumption that someone wouldn't be a jerk and intentionally use something and not pay for it. From what I read in the Walmart Website, it isn't even a "satisfaction guaranteed" return policy. It is a no questions asked policy. I think it would be immoral to say you weren't satisfied with the tent after using it, but in this case satisfication is not relevant. Let me reiterate this is not something I would personally do. My morals dictate that if I am satisfied with the purchase, I don't return the item. It would be immoral for me to do it, but I can't consider the act immoral in and of itself. Cheating on your spouse is intrinsically immoral. Taking advantage of a "no questions asked" return policy is not. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  10. Unfortunately, that is not true. I reviewed the WalMart returns policy and the OP is completely within his legal and moral right to purchase an item and use it fully knowing he is going to return it for full credit. It is not something I would do, but it isn't immoral. Speaking from first hand knowledge, Walmart negotiates returns, defects, and allowances from their Vendors (ours is 4.5%). This is accounted for in our margin calculation. I don't know what the actual return rate is at Walmart, but I strongly suspect it is under 4.5%. They make money, we make money, the consumer is happy. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  11. And make sure you have your GOPro HD camera turned on and filming your first jump. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  12. Could you provide an url that shows the data behind this statistic? I believe there must be some generalization or inequality in the data. I am curious if prior criminal activity is used when summarizing the data. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  13. Wasn't my intent. Justin is a great guy and one of my AFF instructors. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.

  15. It looks interesting. A feature you may want to consider is to make your Call Time to be a configurable option. Not everyone may want every 5 minutes. Also, if you don't have nine airplanes, the radio buttons still appear. It would be easy enough to set the visible property to false if the caption value is empty. Another tiny 'bug' is your configuration file contains the line Everything below here is the actual configuration information. which isn't quite true. I cut some of the airplane config lines and pasted them above the statement and they still showed up. It was also a little eerie to see the demo data screen snapshot since Justin is still recovering from his safety day crash and couldn't possible be on a load. 16. I feel your pain. I still have nightmares about 2nd year college calculus. All I can say is memorize them now since they may come back to haunt you. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  17. +1 I have been a SCUBA instructor for 20 years and an active Skydiver for about 1 year. I am amazed at the level of safety consiousness that exists in skydiving as opposed to the 'it can't happen to me' attitude in SCUBA diving. I enjoy the feeling I get being around people who take an active interest in my safety and well being. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  18. I wonder if that means it is technically illegal to bring a BASE Rig on a commercial flight. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  19. Seems like the time of year to try to get free advice about taxes from strangers on the internet. Does anyone know any good PIGs? I have around a $13,000.00 a year passive loss that I would like to offset. Seems like most of the PIGs I have seen are scams involving something like intercepting skydiving customers using a website. OK, now everybody start PIG jokes . . . For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  20. Won't work. You will get a type error on UBound(files) since it will still be a variant or boolean type and not an array. I'm not that smart - I first tried exactly what you were thinking and it didn't work. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  21. comments are overrated I did run into an error when it tried to ReDim Newfiles when you selected no files. The common dialog sets Files to false if you don't select any. I would suggest the following code change in your commandButton2 sub: Private Sub CommandButton2_Click() 'Rename button a = 1 If Not Files Then MsgBox "Filename missing", vbCritical 'Errormessage Exit Sub Else ForEnd = UBound(Files) ReDim NewFiles(UBound(Files)) As Variant End If Keep up the good coding - it is the best I've seen on DZ.COM For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  22. That appears to be a gray carpet, rather than a driveway. It looks to me like the picture was taken on a packing mat in a hangar. Not that I would buy a 30 yr old chute off of Ebay . . . For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  23. Thank you for posting relevant, interesting information in speakers corner without labeling yourself a republican or democrat. Maybe you will start a trend. For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
  24. I entered 03/35/2010 and it accepted the date and told me no classes were available. Might I suggest input verification along the lines of: IF NOT (ISDATE(txtvalue)) THEN ... For the same reason I jump off a perfectly good diving board.
