The few people I've run into that have a suit but doesn't jump it have the following excuses: A) They are working on "mastering" other discplines first B) They aren' that much fun when there is no one else to jump with Reasons why it may be difficult to find people interested in them: A) The suit does add some danger to your jump, you have 2, possibly 3 new cutaways to consider (although these typically will not be used during your "normal" cutaway procedures) B) The suit is very fun, however once you've jumped with another birdman the solo jumps that were fun before now become kinda boring :) C) I think there is a lot of "unknowns" when it comes to a wing suit.. people who don't have exposure to them don't know about them and because they make you look like a flying squrriel people are a little leary of finding out about them. They are wierd looking and because they keep developing like they are, they are becoming more and more like a ram air parachute. Hopefully I can get a good FAQ put together to dispel some of the unknowns. BTW - do you have any other questions I can stick into the FAQ?

Two of them appear to have been captured by FARC rebels, the officials said. The fate of the fifth was unknown. The Cessna was contracted by the U.S. Defense Department, officials of the U.S. Southern Command told CNN. It had been on an intelligence mission en route from the capital to Florencia, in Colombia's Caqueta Department, a region known to harbor FARC guerrillas, when it suffered mechanical problems and crash landed, the Colombian armed forces said in a statement. hell i don't know. maybe different "f-111" material Or maybe because they have a higher aspect ratio No, the reason is PD does a lot of reinforcement and whatnot -- it's a higher quality canopy. Pisa doesn't have all the same reinforcement PD has. More reinforcement = more material

Hey I know there was a big debate about how "limited" the limited edition DVD was.. last I heard the option to buy was still up there but as grant said "did you try clicking on it?" or something to that effect making me think it was disabled. I just started seeing the banner ads on dz.com to purchase the "2 hour dvd!" whats up with that ?

Holy crap! I was just talking about going there to an old college friend today!! He's gonna be down there march 8 - 12th. When is your dz planning on being there? Are they doing beach jumps onto padre island or what? Last time I was @ Padre I tried to make a skydive with the skydive south padre getup there.. it was NUTS the guy running the thing had me go pick up his students!! I didn't even get to jump due to winds.

Well I just got off the phone with aerodyne and they said PISA is not making hornets anymore, Aerodyne is supporting all the former products (i.e. repairs, etc..) but they are now discontinued. So who knows, i'm sure plenty of people have brand new ones in stock. I'm waiting on my vision demo myself. :) Kevin

And yes I think it is true that hornets are not being made anymore, I think some of aerodyne's products closely perform like PISA's hornet & heatwave. (I think the pilot is equivalent to the hornet and the vision is like a heatwave) pm Skygod7777 he's dealer. Woo-hoo! I got an antique now, i wonder if it'll go up in price .. i better try and get a replacement hornet logo before they burn them all. Kevin
