Saw this morning on the today show about this guy who killed himself (overdose) on a webcam in a chatroom and no one did anything.. check it out -- on the memorial site they even have the chat logs.. Humm -

They are the ones close, and typically have skydiver discounts. Ramada is the closest to the DZ, they are all within 1 - 2 miles of each other. Kevin

An MP3 player!! (see my "would you buy this?" thread in talkback :) But seriously, a headphone jack would be good. There has been a big debate on where to put your protrak for the "best" readings.. and most of the times that isn't near your ear. So then you need 2 audibles, one to remind you of your altitude and the other to record the jump.

Was watching my good stuff VHS again the other day, and was curious how Joe got the angles where he is slightly above a skydiver but you can clearly see all the ground rush below him? (the wingsuit dives are an example of this) -- is he in some helicopter or something? The distance appears to stay the same yet it doesn't appear it is a skydiver helmet angle. Kevin

Holy crap, for those of you in the military you may know all this - but on the news they were talking about "where does all t he money go??" for wars.. they were going through all the expenses -- one of the missles costs a little over a million per launch, a tank to fire it's main cannon was a little over 5K per round, the 50 cal (i think 50 cal) machine gun on an apache is about 55 bucks per round, the rounds in the m-16 were quoted at 7 cents a round.. They said the #1 expense however was logistics, moving all the troops and heavy artillary all the way around the world then back. That just amazes me how in a few seconds an apache can rack up 60K worth of expenses,.... :( Kevin

Hey, if you go to here there is a poster for good stuff, one of the clips says "racing planes" and shows an ultralight going nose down with a skydiver.. did I miss this footage on the VHS??? Is this only on the DVD?

So will they drop ship you a new unit and let you return yours, or do you have to ship them yours or what? How long does it take to get a new one for SLO? Where are you shipping it to, denmark or wherever they are ?

The cable isn't available separately from the software; it's an effective piracy deterrent. Shame on you if you were thinking it would be cheaper to just buy the cable and copy the software and serial code from a friend! L&B are good guys. They'll change your old ProTrack to one with a SLO mode for free so don't try and bilk them for the software. If you weren't thinking that then I apologise! WTF is a slo one?
