I feel your pain suz... i found out yesterday I have about 4K of dental work that needs to be done and can't be put off :( i was planning on getting a new rig with that money *sigh*

Forecasters are about as good as the dead president on the coins I flip. They forecasted for va a few weeks ago "mostly cloudy & rain" and it was sunny.. and that was the forecast 24 hours before!!! i swear these guys don't have a clue. I do admit, the one other mardi gras boogie i went to we only jumped 1 day out of the 5 Don't forget new orleans is close so hey.. no jumping? Plenty of other things to do. Casinos aren't far from Moss Point either, i'm going to a cool "allegria" type show on saturday night with family. Kevin

Yes. I remember those days too. In fact, I remember when I just registered. I came to the forums, looked around and thought: "I won't let this little set-back get me down, I'll just talk to myself!" Jim- When I have one of the test DVDs in my hot little hand, I'll let everyone know that they really do exist... (Jim that was funny) So -- the test dvds that were supposed to be out like a week or two ago haven't even come yet ? I think Jim's joke may be closer to the truth than we realize.

Oh c'mon. Now that takes effort to fall out of a hot air balloon. That guy obviously had some issues. If nothing went wrong with the balloon, he was a moron. Thats like hanging on the other side of the rail at niagra falls.. if you want to get a high jump with a parachute for gods sake. Kevin

i went from student gear (230?s) to my first rig -- cruiselight 220 put maybe 10 jumps on that and downsized to a hornet 135. I jumped someone's 160? or 170? once or twice.. Exit weight is 155.. have had 0 problems.. but again i guess it all has to do with the person. bout to downsize to my xaos 41... (okay I'm kidding about that, but I am about to go to a 120 or 115). That's about 150 jumps after I downsized to the 135. kevin

I have an RCA Lycra which is nice, 128 mb small compact and does the job -- not overly expensive either.
