    Would it help if I typed slowly? Go read the skydiving and BASE fatalities lists. Quite a few people have landed wingsuits (just the once). Actually I believe Yuri's friend has landed one and "walked' away from it (though not immediately) i haven't seen the video but have heard it's a true story.. low deployment impacted ground at line stretch... still jumps

    So get this, this couple was driving down 95 speeding - md state police pull 'em over.. they CONSENT TO A SEARCH.. and upon lookiing in the trunk they found 2 bodies!!! Holy crap.. intererested in where this will go.. Link to news article

    Okay, radio station played it a few days ago and have not played it since.. can't remember any specific lyrics, but the jist of the song is the guy is hooking up with a bunch of girls.. it's a new song and sounds like offspring... any ideas? :)

Highest BASE Jump On August 26, 1992, Nicholas Feteris and Dr Glenn Singleman jumped from a ledge known as the "Great Trango Tower", which stands at 5,880 m (19,300 ft) in the Karakoram mountains of Pakistan. The extremely dangerous sport of BASE jumping – Building, Antenna, Span [bridge], Earth [cliff] – is effectively skydiving without the need for an aircraft, as jumpers will launch themselves from any suitably high structure before deploying their parachute. It is banned in most countries, although legal jumps can be made on specified dates and from approved structures. Owing to legal considerations, Guinness World Records refuses to acknowledge jumps made from buildings.

    Well my biggest concern is the fact that if something DOES go wrong if you know how to properly deal with it. I've had one night jump with a lazy pull that ended up with a PC sitting on my butt for a few hundred feet.. thank god when my canopy opened it wasn't in line twists :) Be careful, have fun. Kevin

    I seem to be missing the more important jump number, number of wingsuit jumps? On a seperate note, just like any night flying start off with solos and work your way up.. i've done 2 ways at night but that's about it. It is possible to see each other flying around, and if you have white wings or a light colored wing that glowsticks can be seen through it is even easier to see each other - the people on the ground can "Clearly" see you as well evidentally (at least i've been told). If (when you are flocking together) loose each other you need to have it pre planned that you're going to fly in opposite directions (pick a direction based on the runway) and fly quick! Also predetermine your opening altitudes. Night flocks are unbelieveable.. it seems more peaceful when it is dark all around and you see glowing wings flying back and forth. I can't wait to do more.

    i used to do kite buggying, still have the kites and the buggy.. they both look like parachutes, one is a parafoil and the other is a skytiger.. i think the skytiger was around 800 bucks and can easily lift me off the ground. The buggy is called a peter lynn buggy, 3 wheelend contraption. See here

    Skydive Orange this comming weekend will have 3 otters and be offering 15.00 jumps. Also the 100 way attempts are going on, I think they will have high altitude loads to 18K

    As horrific as that may be (i don't know the details on the accident) you guys really look down on wingsuit flight at your dz because of the accident?

    Put it in talk back because the population i'm looking for probably doesn't frequent wingsuits :) Just curious how much of the population still hasn't been exposed to wingsuits...
