You should be able to shoot an email to birdman at info@bird-man.com They will tell you what measurements are needed. :) These things are pretty cool-ass. :) arlo I talked to birdman on the phone, they said there are no measurements it's small, medium, large, (and i think he said extra large) and yes, it's another 6 weeks.. can't they move those friggin people from over the pond to the US to speed up production???

I used to do the same thing but with a repelling harness and dog stake. Boy i bent up some dog stakes... :)

Yeah DC is approx 2 hrs from orange, i live in nova (about 20 minues from dc) and drive to orange on the weekends it isn't that bad of a drive. If I weren't going to be in zurich you couldve stayed at my place but i guess thats out. Have fun!

Hehe.. if you want a challenge, I have a Skytiger Hi60 (here) I used to be into performace stunt kites, this one was the one I used for buggying.. I used to kite buggy a good bit, had a speedo on my buggy and got up to 50 MPH on hilly grassy land when the wind was blowing about 15 MPH. without the buggy you could do kite jumping which consisted of basically jumping up in the air and having the kite put you down about 10 - 15 feet from where you jumped :) Cobra Kites has come a ways since I got out of the sport, their site [url http://www.cobrakites.com[/url] has plenty of pics. So I live in NOVA (northern virginia area) and heard early on this morning about the 5 murders that occured this morning near me (Story 1, Story 2) it got me thinking about my personal safety... i've recently become an auxillary officer with a PD here and also have recently obtained my weapons permit so I have just recently started getting acustom to having a gun on me most of the time. My question is this, has anyone had to shoot / kill someone who has attacked them, tried to rob them or the like and gone through all the police questioning & court as a result? Just curious what that is like on a person.. not saying I want to go shoot and kill someone but it got me thinking about this wacko who is going around shooting people what would happen if he picked the wrong person to shoot at.. Jolly Park Thursday evening. This parachute flyer was recovered from the lake at A.J. Jolly Park and taken to Seibert's Auto Service. (Patrick Reddy photo) | ZOOM | The flying machine, called a powered parachute, became tangled in a guy wire about 45 feet above the lake at 8:30 p.m., according to Campbell County Police. The pilot, Michael Albert Kappes, 50, of Alexandria, struggled to get out before the craft fell into the lake and quickly sank to the bottom, boaters told police. “He was an active, enjoyable guy who took early retirement to do what he enjoyed,” said Mr. Kappes' son-in-law, John LeForce of Fort Thomas. “He bought an RV to travel around the country with his wife and had been flying his parachute for three years.” Mr. Kappes was underwater for up to half an hour before bystanders and rescuers managed to get him to the surface, according to police. Attempts at resuscitation failed, and the Campbell County Coroner pronounced him dead at 10:22 p.m. Mr. LeForce said Mr. Kappes had never had problems with his powered parachute before. He would regularly take off and land at the park. His Chevy Trailblazer with a trailer to pull the craft was still parked Friday morning next to a ballfield.
