When I was working for TDOC, an inmate once told me that he was riding in a car with a known felon. The cops pulled them over and decided to arrest them both. One officer began to use unnecessary force on the man who was being taken in without any cause at all. He told me that he dropped to the ground, leg swept the officer. He ended up neutralizing the threat (He beat the $hit out of both of them, took all their weapons, threw them into the police car and drove off.) Know what he was charged with? Stealing the state vehicle. The cop's own video camera had recorded the entire incident. The cop had a history of roughing up those he had arrested.

What kind of workout(s) do you do? I'll be forty-five in a few months, so heavyweights just isn't for me anymore. I mainly do dips (on chairs), push ups on chairs, curls (lightweight dumbells) and I have to abandon the running soon due to a sore right hip. I'd appreciate your input as to your various types of exercises.

Don't own one. I've read that the Racer is the most comfortable rig out there. Tell us what you think after a few jumps with it. I bet you won't be disappointed.

Sorry to hear about that man. Reminds me of what happened to my nephew up in Cincinnati. He was just crossing the street, legally. A car slowed down, coming towards him, but not enough and it struck him. He yelled, jumped straight up in the air & came down with thundering rt hand rt onto the car's hood, leaving the driver with a dent in his hood.

Great idea D. I was thinking of doing the same kind of thing these past few days. I recently saw the 2007 PIA Symposium online. DSE, You did a great job. I was sincerely impressed. Got to learn who Jay Young is and that he seems to be a pretty cool guy. He stated that DZ.com is actually one of the best forum sites on the web. That is due to the Moderators. They Keep chaos from developing and keep this site presentable to the public. Isn't it nice to have a place where skydivers can go and talk to people who can relate to their unique sport? I think so. Keep up the good work guys & gals.

Good job KJ. Stick with it. I love to jog. Lately, I've been jogging right through the hip and back pain. I still feel invigorated when I am through. Nothing like it.
