So has anybody seen the new cypres ad in Blue Skies? the one with the golden cypres on a multi colored rainbow-y background. So I totally just noticed that its a painted boob. I've looked at it a bunch of times already & just now noticed. I feel silly for not seeing it earlier. I'm wondering if anybody else totally missed that too... ETA: oops sorry skymama shoulda caught that one. all fixed.

ooo! I also took a pic of yesterday's heels too! I love these shoes too! (I'm on a shoe high lately) and again no full pic b/c its too hard to get a self photo with a cell phone without a full length mirror. just getting my foot is hard enough.

I've been on a kick lately to start wearing my heels more. I've got them, and so rarely use them. So I've started wearing them to work & I love these heels so I'd figure I'd share them. They're sparkly bright pink peep-toe sling-back stillettos. So what are you wearing today?

i need a "sex for jump tickets" t shirt unless you have boobies, that shirt might not be as effective as you'd like...

skydiving with a tiny beer fund for firsts. you will always find generous souls who will buy a round & not expect you to knowing you're a student. but finding somebody to buy you a jump is a lot harder.

hhhmmm the no radio thing is a little hinky to me. but if you dont have access to one, you'll have to make do I guess. Try having somebody film your landings so you can have some outside perspective. When I was learning to flare, that helped me the most because I didnt realize that one of my hands was always higher than the other. I could have sworn it wasnt so, until I saw the video. Maybe you're not actually flaring all the way though you think you are.

It's happened. Guy at my DZ walked up to a friend of his and pulled his reserve handle because the friend was being a dumbass and was going to execute a jump that would have most likely killed him. Pretty sure the guy paid for the repack but he saved the guy from his own stupidity. if you don't mind me asking what was the jump supposed to be? -

yea, I've never seen it. but keep in mind that usually a disco ball doesnt emit its own light. its just a large mirrored ball & it just reflects lights from outside sources, so everybody would need a flashlight or something. Also, unless somebody could somehow catch it & deploy with it, I'd be concerned about safety of the discoball plummeting to the earth after. Even if it was spotted really well, there'd be a chance that it could hit somebody & that would hurt. & nobody would be able to see it at night...

I also have a few friends who really don't like chocolate. Also you never know if she just started some crazy hard core diet, then even if she LOVES chocolate, she may not appreciate it. I know we're crazy & it makes no sense, but still. If you know she likes chocolate & didnt just start a new diet (which might be hard to tell), chocolate's fine. If not, I'd go with a gift card to say thankyou. A wee less personal unless you know she's a die hard fan of a certain store, but a slightly safer option.
