The big question is "Is that a unisex name?" I'm not Russian enough to know. In our culture, there are plenty of people named Pat or Jan or some other name that is not gender specific. Then there are women named Jo, Bobbi, Billie or some other feminine variation of a masculine name. Leslie used to be a male name, but it's certainly considered feminine in the U.S. now. But a boy named Sue or a girl named Jeff will still attract his or her share of "Huh?" My name is Jo or at least thats what I prefer to be called by my friends. It's caused quite a bit of confusion in the past. My favorite was when I was staying with a friend of a friend. They were told "my friend Jo" & just assumed I was a guy. When he met me he just kinda stared dumb founded for a sec and goes "you have boobs"

I just found my altimeter broken Hmm...I have an idea on how to cheer you up. yea so do I But I'll also accept donations to the glory thread to cheer me up instead. Well, I'd rather donate in person. unless you can teleport or you're over a 1000 miles long, you might have a hard time with that one tonight But I'll settle for the second best thing

I just pulled my neptune 2 out of my gear bag to pack for my trip this weekend & found it broken It looks like the screen cracked some how in my bag & there are big black splotches on the screen too. It's bad enough that now I'm sans altimeter for my trip, so i have to rent, borrow or buy one. but I'm also a bad skydiver in that I dont log often or well. So now I dont know exactly how many jumps I have or my free fall time. Does anybody know if its possible to somehow get the information out of it? & I can't just ask my DZ for a print out b/c I jump at so many DZ's too I can guess to within a jump or two, but I'd rather get the info back if I can. so lesson to everyone out there. LOG!

Bad form/pickup line. I should have explained.... I'm a busy guy. It's best to make reservations now. I'm all about sharing, but there is only so much to go around. Cuz that makes it SO much better. what's with all the tanking pick up lines lately. I thought the DZ.com boys were supposed to be the most charming of the skydiving community I'm a packer and all-round ninja. I have a strong back, and size 13 shoes. I don't need charm or lines. wait... how is being a ninja a good thing. ninjas are stealthy & you never know they're there. So we're gonna have sex but I'm not gonna know? that doesnt sound like a good thing....

aw why thank you! you boys are gonna make me blush but no I won't be at nationals, canopy piloting or otherwise. I can't afford to be at the CP nationals & I'll be at the Farm for Halloween during the regular nationals.

do a search on the forums for the farm. you'll see that it consistantly comes up as the DZ of choice in the Georgia area. It's not just marketing hype. It's one of the top dz's around, with great staff, and its the home of Chuting Star. It's definitely one of my favorite DZ's with some of my favorite people. It even has me thinking about moving to the hell hole that is Atlanta in a year or two just to be able to call the Farm home. and no I don't work there. -
