dan, i think you already sent one out to me. a comp cobalt 85 to clinton keeney(my real name, i go by kelly) i called yesterday, and she said that she would either get it out today or tomorrow(today). but she wasn't sure. can't wait to try it, i hope that it performs as good or better than my fx. blue sky's and long swoops kelly

this is for the people that have gotton a demo from atair. about how long did you have to wait for one???? i just faxed in a demo request today and am wondering about how long it should take. also am wondering how they perform???? all it says about the comp cobalt on there site is that it's a cobalt with "spanwise triangulated braced nose". i'm wondering how the lift is, can you get them stopped on a no wind day, how's the front riser presure???how long, or short is the recovery arc??? is the toggle pressure hard, or soft??? thanks blue sky's and long swoops kelly

what's up ok, now once you get some more jumps, you'll realize that 2 grand isn't as low as it sounds. now, it's lower than i pull with 2500 jumps, but i'll go down there if i have to. i will pull around 2500 to 3000, but i jump a 84 sq ft canopy, and like the extra time. but i'm sure it's not a ground rush thing for the people going to 2000 ft., it's just that they don't want to pull higher. now thoses people also don't have as much time to react to a malfunction, but are experienced enough to deal with it quickly. but that's just my 2 cents. blue sky's and long swoops kelly

well, i really liked skydive cancun, in playa del camon, mexico. really nice view. but jumps are 30 bucks a piece. but it's worth it. blue sky's and long swoops kelly -
well, i don't know a whole lot about sabre 2's, but i can say, from what i heard, that it would be a ok canopy for a novice(40-50 jumps). even at a 1.1 wing loading would probalbly be fine. but, i don't know how they proform, i've never jumped one. blue sky's and long swoops kelly

come to indiana, skydive wayne county, not the biggest dz, but we have a caravan, and we are really laid back and friendly, unlike some of the bigger dz's. blue sky's and long swoops kelly

well, eddie, the owner the canopy, did buy it from skykat. not sure what the serial number is right now, i'll call him and find out. wouldn't surprise me if it is. but how many jumps did you put on it, and do you know how many jumps did josh seagraves put on it. when eddie bought it, they weren't sure. later blue sky's and long swoops kelly

what's up i have a friend that bought a canopy online, and it's a 110 shark. now i've never heard of it, the person he bought it from had never heard of any others, and i'm wondering if anyone out there has one, or has seen another one?????? thanks blue sky's and long swoops kelly

"these are all of my reasons to jump one and to own one, why shouldn't you buy another fx?" well i don't know if i want to yet. i'm going to demo all of these to find out. and you jumping a velocity couldn't also have something to with you being sponsered could it??????? but have you jumped any other X-braced canopies(i'm sure you have) but is this the only thing that you have to compare it to????? i'm sure that your a great pilot, but if you don't put about 50 or 60 jumps on a demo canopy, you don't really know how it will perform for you. ya sure, you may do some hooks with it when you demo one for a couple of weeks, but that's only 2 weekends, maybe 15 jumps, and you don't know how it will really perform for the hole season. but that's just my opinion and opinions are like assholes.......... everyone has one, and they all stink blue sky's and long swoops kelly

well, as it is right now, the velocity is sounding really good. but i have never had any problems with my fx. i can get it to shut down, and open with a great snivil. we have a 111 velocity at my dz, and i can get just as good of landing out my fx as he can his velocity. but i will have to try a velocity to see if i get better landings than i can on my fx. and any one know about pd building a 75 velocity?????????? i would buy a 79 if i really liked it, but would like to try a 75 also. but i'm not sure if they really build them. i've only heard of them building them. thanks blue sky's and long swoops kelly

what's up i have a 84 fx, and am looking to down size. i was wondering some peoples opinions on the other x-braced canopies out there, velocity, vx, xaos 21 and 27. i'm going to demo them all probably, but am just wondering what people think of them. and find out a little what it will be like before i demo it. thanks blue sky's and long swoops kelly D-24081

i had a 72 vx. i will say they can swoop like a bat out of hell, but if your not careful it will get away from you. if you are twichy with the toggles then it will "bounce" around during your swoop. just be smooth. but i didn't care for the openings. they aren't too hard, but not too soft. i sent mine back because i do a lot of tandem videos and need something that opens better. i have a friend that has one that i jump all the time because i just love the way it fly's. but when i set up a third rig i might buy one a just not jump it with my camera. blue sky's and long swoops kelly
