no.......they make shorts also though......i have both pants and shorts. i would say yes.........but of course it is tougher to learn sit flying in just freefly pants. and yea belly is fine. they stay closed great......a zipper and 2 snaps keep them closed. every penny.......i love my swoop shorts and pants (well i actually cut off my pants and made them shorts). my pants i would say have every bit of 400 jumps on them and are still going strong, and i slide in on my ass a lot from downwind swoops. later

i'm not getting shit done today because i'm all snowed in.......i've spent half the morning trying to clean out the driveway just get on the street.........I HATE SNOW. later

that's awesome that your starting jumping, not many kids our age will, or even can because of their parents. i'm going to have to drive down to rafeord sometime this summer to jump with some people my age you need to start packing, that way the dzo *maybe* will let you kind of rack up a bill for you jumps and you can just pack to pay it off..........i know jaime let a kid do that here in richmond that started jumping when he was 16, he learned how to pack so pay for his AFF..........he also got to be friends with some AFF instuctors to where he only had to pay for 2 jumps to go make his next skydive.......so that's an idea. good luck with your jumps, if i was old enough to be an aff instuctor i'd come spend a day jumping with you........but since i'm not, good luck finding some bling bling for jumps later

ok ok, well i guess that kind of counts.......a fast backslide........knee's tucked on their ass and hand out........ok. later
-
that would be impressive to see, i know i've tried, and could never get it not to stall on me...... and not to say this this is not impressive, this is really kick ass........but that's not really getting everything out of your canopy, your really shorting yourself on distance........ but hey, it looks cool, and lets face it, it's all about looking cool right later
-
come over to richmond, me, vern, and jason have done it a little (vern quite a bit actually) down in fl. we could go on some with ya . later

it's not really tracking though, look at the angle they're at. tracking is flat, this is not. have you ever seen somone do feet first tracking??? i know i haven't, but i've seen, feet first atmonauti's lead my mike whitenburg. so, similar to tracking, yes, same no. later

history of parachutes done with PD. later -
if was in germany, i'd be on that like stink on shit......i think that would be cool as hell. but, since i'm in ohio, i don't think it could happen too easily. later
-
i think what it is, is that say i get hurt.......my parents can't sue, and neither can i, at that time, but when i turn 18, all bets would be off and i could be sue happy i guess. i don't know, i don't care........my dad used to own i dz, i know the risks, and i would NEVER sue a dz, but in the same aspect i can understand why a dzo couldn't take my word for it, so i've never gotten mad if they said i couldn't jump. later
-
what's up i'm also a second generation jumper, my dad used to own a dz, we shut down about 3 years ago this spring. i'm 17, i made my first tandem at 7 and first static line at 11. where r you, maybe we'll catch up sometime and make a jump. later
-
damn little P your going to be better than me and vern before too long if you keep flying in the tunnel later
-
yea, same exact idea, just like he said they are rubber banded to the D or C lines (i put my dad's icarus tandem 400 on the in side C lines because the D's are too far down to reach). later
-
ok, this is what tj told me it was for a couple years ago, but time after time i have read on here that it is for if you just can't give up and go to toggle to dig out a bit, that this would save your ass from a high speed stall (to a point anyway). which, honestly, i see it as doing a little of both. later
-
i wouldn't say that i am either, but at some point i hope to be in the next couple years, and it would be nice to be able to get these options that sponsered guys can get that the public can't.......oh well, i can only hope to get sponsered one day later
-
i agree, in the fact that they should be able to play with it, but if a company comes out iwth a competion line set (if a company does let say), i think it should be available to the public, i mean it does give the sponsered guys an advantage that isn't really available to us. i'm not bitching too much, it just makes me want to practice more and fly better so maybe i can beat them one day with my stock canopy
-
this is just what i've heard, i've never seen any of these canopies up close, so i can't be sure. but, i heard the pd guy use hma cascaded so they have to replace them all the time (like ever 150 or 200 jump or something). and the E line, or jay mod some call it, a few of them use it, but that's not really anything new.......it's just for if your low you can dig a bit more with rears.........what it is, is a line that goes from your rear risers to the cascades on your brake lines with a little slack, so say (just a number here) after 2" of pulling your rears down, it also pullsed the brake lines down a bit too. and as far as the icarus teams, i heard they use hma lines also...........xaos guys, there canopies already have hma lines, but are non cascaded. later

bad ass dude......i wish me and vern had a pond to play with ........i'll be down in jan to get wet for sure later
-
yea, this will be i'll go jump it, and get down and say if i even see you trying to attempt what i just did in the next 500 jumps you'll be grounded . the last time i jumped a big canopy like that, i went to do a 180, and realized i was way high and did a 540........i forgot how little dive these canopies have compared to a 85 vx loaded at 2.5 to 1, lol. lata
