Has anyone noticed there are more cars these days with the same names as our equipment? Odyssey Pilot Spectre Mirage Colbalt I know there are more. Jmprgirl started taking pic's of them when we were on the road for 4 months hitting boogies. Are they out of names or what?

That is what I was thinking. asn't folks like Madolyn Murdock, Jack Berk, Mike Smith a part of that crew. Or am I thinking when the TeXXas 20 way patch came out, thus starting the 20 competitions. Hell what do I know I was only 11 years old.

Its funny you should say that. I was just looking at the white and yellow. Kolla told me to go with an asymmetrical pattern. She also likes whites, but placement is always important, like off the center cell. I appreciate your assistance, it is fun isnt it.

Do you really think you will see through the black? I have done somethig similar before and didnt think it did. Maybe I will just call Kolla, she will know for sure.. I am thinking of replacing the ppl part of the bottom skin with white and leave the top the same. that way the ppl will fade through the white. See attached

The only "events" that get sticky are dz.com boogies or sometimes memorial services of well known figures in the sport. word it how you want but here it is http://www.dropzone.com/cgi-bin/forum/gforum.cgi?post=1929362#1929362 i know this is for the DZ boogie, but is Rantoul a DZ.com event? thats not an event actually by the subject, but it does promote the event, not a big deal just something I noticed

That's interesting, I've not ever seen a thread in Bonfire, edited by a moderator simply because he didn't like the content or didn't feel it worth sharing. ... what's happened here? I dont know, lately we have also seen that certain "events" get sticky's while others dont. Oh well people will be people, not much we can do

Yea, and the right combination of people available to help due to school schedules,, and more hotel rooms available, and better dates for swoop pond competitions, and, and and. Geez you guys all gave me a long list of requests this year!! Is it the size of the town that affects this change. I mean LP is and always has been a prety large event. Why do they not have the "scheduling" challenges that WFFC does? Just curious

ahh the infamous R&D, ripoff and duplicate been going on since day one, especially in the skydiving world. Not just in equipment but even boogies!! Dont think it will ever end.

Bill can be a "blast" at a prayer meeting. Sparky I'll tell ya, he attended that last SkyFest we had at Dallas and that man was up as late as the young ones!! We were praying alot that weekend!!!

Hey, are you aware that July 27 2006 will mark 40 years since Bob Buqor drowned? At SkyFest in july next year we are going to make a big deal out of it with special SCR's and other Star formations. Bill Newell is going to make an appearance and do the ceremony for us. He will also be handing out patches on the spot like he did in the 60's. We are pretty excited about it. You should joins us I know you would enjoy it. And yes spend all the time one can with the pioneers. Bill Newell will be a blast at SkyFest.
