  1. Do what I do ... I just skip past it; I know I won't miss anything and it works pretty darn well
  2. I've always figured that too, but I'd love to hear the women chime in with their thoughts. With so many guys and so few women in the sport, seems every woman has many guys to choose from at the DZ. Now, the question is, do they WANT to date a jumper? Want to? Sure ... but as always, all the good ones are already taken ... O
  3. I have to (sadly) agree ... I scared off more guys than I ever did previously since I started skydiving. I already come accross as as a "bull in a china shop" and rather independent and self-sufficient ... the skydiving hasn't helped the "big balls" issue one bit. I actually stopped mentioning this particular hobby ... they find out eventually (pictures on my Facebook, a t-shirt, a rig hanging in my livingroom) and me trying to down play it actually made things worse. "You skydive?" "Yes." "Why didn't you tell me?" "You didn't ask ... no big deal ... just one of the many things I do ... " "Right ... " O
  4. Tempting ... if I don't get anyone to do it with me in MA, I'll join you guys ...
  5. Are you talking about the woomba or the roomba? I was wondering the same thing ...
  6. "Woomba ... that's what I want for Christmas" ...
  7. I had to read that title 3 times ... I wasn't quite sure what you mean
  8. After my first skydiving season ended (I'm in New England), I went to Z-hills 3 times over that Winter. You can address "adrenaline withdrawals" with: - travelling South. - man/woman up and jump in the cold (I don't know where you are, but CPI in CT is open over the Winter and it looks like Pepperell will keep its Otter also) - find a "Winter friendly" method to get your adrenaline fix ... skiing? snowboarding? ice climbing? O
  9. So sorry to hear this ... heal fast ... and I too need a packer in Nicaraqua :)
  10. Which one? Uma Thurman or Alyssa Milano? I guess some clarification is needed ... After going ziplining one weekend in early September, I had a severe allergic reaction to poison ivy/sumac ... It was bad ... really, really bad - I had to go on Prednisone twice before I stopped reacting to it ... My face was the worse ... it cleared two weeks ago ... O
  11. I thought of it too late ... "Poison Ivy" would have been such an appropriate costume for me this year ...
  12. I'm not surprised ... that is a pretty creative and sexy costume
  13. I'm pretty sure I can more than top that, but I don't see the point ... it has been 4+ years since my divorce and don't find any use for holding on to the bad memories ... We all get hurt ... I'm pretty sure there are a couple of guys out there for which I'm the cause of the hurt ... such is life
  14. Ha ha ... I can't even claim I'm that observant ... I guess this is a well known, accepted and embraced fact ... O
  15. ... and I guess I could share mine ... instead of "scary" (or "slutty")... I went for authentic; wore one of the sari I got in India and even had mehndi henna body art done on my hands/arms :)
  16. Aww John ... I assume you are the peanut butter and V is the jelly :-); you two are very cute, as always ... O
  17. And ladies, cleavage and mini-skirts are part of the required attire. Funny ... the other day I was coming up with my own definition for Halloween ... "a perfect excuse for otherwise prude women to dress up slutty without fear of judgement or associated guilt" ...
  18. Wishing everyone who celebrates this holiday beloved by many, scary tricks, yummy treats and a very Happy Halloween ... Now, for the important part, show us your costume :) O
  19. This is when I wish there was an "Unsubscribe" button available ...
  20. Yes you are ... and thank you :)
  21. "Awkward and goofy" is how I'd describe this video also ... I'm not sure there was any actual sex involved either ... Not a performance worth loosing your job over . http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=13d_1318607927&comments=1
  22. Not in the slightest … I used to, when I was young and insecure. If you are young, you got something to look forward to when it comes to growing older ... O
  23. Rhetorical question, right? Don't underestimate people's ability to be stupid ... (I hate those type of e-mails; they irritate me to no end!!!)
